Grazie, Simon!
We were a group of six ladies and we had a wonderful time on our boat trip. The scenery was beautiful, of course, but also our captain, Simon, was so friendly. We stopped in a beautiful area to swim and we appreciated the snacks and beverages on board. Grazie, Simon!
Response from the operator: Thank you Jennifer, I had a wonderful day too. I enjoyed your company and whenever you come back contact me directly for another special day at sea.

Nothing special
Nice boat on a beautiful coast. Our captain was nice but not informative or interactive. We just drove slowly along the coast and got out to swim twice. We ended up back early so we just swam for an hour. If you want a fun interactive boat day with food this isn’t the tour for you. Lunch was picked for us and it was ok. No green grotto and minimal things to see. Just a water day.
Response from the operator: I'm agree nothigh special for persons that do not understand the beauty of a boat tour along the wonderful Amalfi coast. The Amalfi Coast boat tour is at normal speed of 6 to 7 knots, no boats are doing at fast speed this boat tour because going at slow speed you may enjoy the view of the coast having a relaxing day, but was not your case because as reported by the skipper you broke one bottle of limoncello on deck spreading glass all around and making the boat very dirty in a complete mess up. Finally In our boat tour details we have clearly written that in case of high swell for your safety and to prevent damages to the boat we skip the Emerald Grotto.

Boat day!!!
Perfect positano boat day for group of six! It was just our group, no strangers just our skipper Guiseppe. Easy to find where to board the boat at the one central port in Positano (same as where you arrive via ferry). Flexible to stop and swim at many locations, and we also got to stop at a restaurant for lunch that was only reachable by boat and got yummy pasta. Guiseppe was super chill had great hair and let us play music on our speaker and jump off the boat into the sea! If you get sea sick easy take Dramamine before hehe. Gratzie Guiseppe!
Response from the operator: Thanks and I'm glad you spend a good day with our skipper Giuseppe.

Amazing Amalfi Coast experience
What an amazing experience- can highly recommend. What a fabulous way to see the Amalfi Coast. Guiseppe was the best driver and tour gude. We had a wonderful day. The restaurant we were booked into at capri has amazing, the swims off the boat so fun. Everything about our day was exceptional, Guiseppe made our day. All I can say is DO IT, book now you will not be disappointed 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Response from the operator: Thanks Rose for your words and I'm glad you spent a good day on board touring the coast, Giuseppe our skipper has always somethingh to show and find always a cool spot for swim, he is amazing!

AMAZING!! Don’t book with anyone else, this company is all you need to have an incredible experience.
Absolutely amazing. The crew was fantastic, the scenery was unbelievable. We unfortunately had our tour cancelled due to weather, but we rescheduled directly with Positano Boat Tours and it was the exact experience we were looking for. This is the one activity I can’t recommend enough to others as it truly was an amazing experience.
Response from the operator: Good Day Chris, thanks and I'm glad of your understanding to follow our recommendations to cancel the boat tour due to adverse weather conditions and reschedule for another day. We prefer the guests to have a wonderful boat tour and a lots of times is the highlight of your vacation here because from the sea you have an amazing view discovering really this wonderful coast. We have more then 20 years of experience doing boat tours and we have our parameters to understand if is possible or not to go for the boat tour, not everybody has this criteria refering to some other companies and sometimes I see them carrying guests in rough sea with a consequent of a unpleasant experience for their passengers. You were in Good Hands Chris I can defininitively tell you! All the best dear friend

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.
How much does Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano cost?
+
Prices start at $1049 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.
Is Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Private Boat Tour of Amalfi Coast from Positano start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Positano?
+
On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
