    Great guides, disappointing raft.

Great guides. They really put their best effort forward so we could have a great experience, they were knowledgeable and also very funny. The rafting however was very very tame. We booked the half day Fisher Towers. It was not rafting, it was floating without needing the peddles. The price was around $90 per person (and we were with 4), not worth the money for 1.5 hours of floating around. Again the guides were really great, and I want to thank them.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review and for the kind words about our guides. They really do go that extra mile. We’ll be sure to pass your compliments along. As for the rafting, what you experienced is exactly what was advertise. The Fisher Towers section is a scenic, family-friendly float with a few mild rapids, not a high-adrenaline whitewater trip. By this time of year, the Colorado River is at its lowest flows, making the rapids even more mellow than they are during spring runoff. Our goal is to accurately describe each trip so guests can choose the experience that’s right for them. If you’re looking for bigger whitewater, we encourage visiting in May or early June when the river is at its highest and the rapids are considerably more exciting. We’re glad you enjoyed your time with our guides and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

River Guide Molly is the BEST!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Fisher Towers full-day rafting trip with Red River Adventures was one of the highlights of our vacation, and our guide, Molly, was a huge reason why! She was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept us laughing all day with river guide stories and jokes. One of our favorite parts was when Molly pointed out a Padlé Oarefish. We’d never even heard of one before! She explained they’re unusually flat fish, most commonly yellow with blue, red, or pink accents, and they’re surprisingly well camouflaged along the river. Such a cool thing to learn! She also showed us a rock formation that looked exactly like Winnie the Pooh wearing a beret and breathing fire. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! The wildlife was unbelievable. We saw bighorn sheep, three otters, geese, blue herons (mud flamingos), a baby deer, a fox catching a fish, and a huge eagle nest. Molly said we’re officially her lucky group because they usually only see a couple of those animals, and she’d never seen the deer or the fox on a trip before. Lunch was fantastic too! The “conewiches” were surprisingly delicious. We were a little hesitant because we’d never tried Mediterranean food before, but the homemade Mediterranean salad with feta and kettle chips folded into a tortilla absolutely rocked. I’m still wishing I had Molly’s recipe! If you’re thinking about rafting in Moab, book the Fisher Towers trip with Red River Adventures. If you get Molly as your guide, consider yourself lucky. You’ll leave with great memories, sore cheeks from laughing, and probably a newfound appreciation for the rare and majestic Padlé Oarefish. Oh, and I t’s officially Hank’s Bubble Bath in our book.

    Full Day fisher tower

This was our 2nd trip with Red River, and like the first, we had great a time. Everyone was great, friendly, and made the experience very enjoyable. Shout out to Emily, who was our guide, she was awesome!

    Awesome possum!!!

Red River Adventure was awesome from beginning to end. Very easy to get all the waivers signed online before your trip. The guides were fun and friendly. If you want a better rafting experience, this is the company to book with. The smaller rafts are way better than the other rafting companies that have much larger rafts. Definitely going to book with Red River Adventure again.

Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab cost?

    +

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab take?

    +

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 199 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab?

    +

Around 70 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Full day Fisher Towers Rafting - Moab start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
