    About this experience

Discover the stunning coastlines of Montenegro on this day tour.Explore the picturesque town of Budva, known for its historical architecture and beautiful beaches, before heading to the iconic Sveti Stefan, a charming islet village. Enjoy a guided visit to local landmarks, and the Old Town, This tour is ideal for travelers seeking a full-day cultural and scenic experience. Ulcinj is above all visited because of the sun, sea, and sandy beaches as many visitors have pointed out that those are “God given beaches” made out of the pettiest grains of grayish and warm sand. Ulcinji was also known as the Town of Pirates beacuse nn the XIV century Ulcinj was known by 400 pirates from Malta, Tunis, and Algeria who have inhabited Ulcinj after the Kanidian war (1669), so Ulcinj has turned into a dangerous pirate nest, which remained a characteristic of the town during the XVII and XVIII century as well. According to historical data Ulcinj is for sure one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast.

    Too Long on the Bus

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. Except for 4.5 hours of getting over the border, stopping at cafes, at Sveti Stefan, Budva and Kotor, 11.5 hours was on the bus including roadworks. We were asked to get to the meeting point earlier only to find the bus was 30 minutes late. Instead of 2 hours in Budva we only had 1.5 hours. I think we needed to be told days before that instead of it being approximately 11 hours it might be 18 hours.
