very good!! very pleasant and attentive!

I recommend that it would be better to do the bridge route first since you get up early, then go eat and end the day on the boat through Aveiro, because you end up much more relaxed and without that heavy feeling after eating and the 2 p.m. sun that hits very hard, but otherwise super top!! very well guided and everything very well attended to

    We had an amazing day...

We had an amazing day exploring Aveiro and the Suspension Bridge with our guide Nelson. He did a fantastic job throughout the tour—very knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. He made sure everyone was comfortable and shared interesting facts about the places we visited, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Aveiro was beautiful, and the stop at the suspension bridge was unforgettable with the incredible views. Nelson made the whole trip smooth, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend this tour and especially Nelson as a guide if you want a great experience in Portugal!

    Beautiful landscape

Good day overall with a preference for morning activity (bridge and walk along the river). For nature lovers it is perfect. The quality meal and a good welcome. The guide was perfect with a touch of French.

    Beautiful day..suspension bridge & hike

Suspension bridge and subsequent hike ..top! An experience!Lunch was too long for me personally, as the other two destinations where the drive there was long, unfortunately came up short. Driver Jose was great and explained a lot to us. Toilet corridors should be considered 😉

    Highly reccomend

Amazing experience with an incredibly personalized tour! A lovely blend of both Portuguese natural wonders and culture. The tour takes your group on a beautiful hike in the morning and then a boating trip during the afternoon. Nelson was an amazing guide who was very attentive to our needs and provided detailed answers to our many curiosities. Plus the provided meals and snacks were delicious

How long does From Porto: Aveiro, Suspension Bridge 516 Arouca and Passadiços do Paiva take?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Porto: Aveiro, Suspension Bridge 516 Arouca and Passadiços do Paiva suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book From Porto: Aveiro, Suspension Bridge 516 Arouca and Passadiços do Paiva?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Best of Porto Walking Tour Small Group Experience and Local Guide, Douro Valley Small Group Tour: 2 Wineries, Lunch & River Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
