    Wonderful place

The purchase of the tour was quiet but to do all the bureaucracy of exchange ticket was not cool ..not counting the distance I had to walk was quite complicated

    Use a different tour company

The guide was nice and knowledgeable which is the only redeeming feature about this tour. The tour company was obnoxious and unaccommodating. When we arrived at the meeting point (the tour offices), the person who checked us in declined to let me use the restroom-they clearly have one and i have never had this experience when meeting at a tour office-they generally encourage you to use the restroom, especially if the first stop is over an hour away. The same person told us we had one minute to make the tour (was not accurate) and basically kicked us out. The next restroom was over an hour away in Toledo. Very bad first impression! Also, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were a few minutes late to arrive at the bus on the way back. I told the bus driver we would be a few minutes later and they did not bother to wait. The free time was also limited and the tour does not offer entrance to any of the locations listed. There are lots of other options for tours to Toledo, i would recommend using a different company

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, Rachel. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important details for future travelers. The tour you booked is our basic half-day Toledo experience, which includes round-trip transportation, an official guide, a guided walking tour, and panoramic viewpoints. It does not include entrance tickets to monuments, as these are part of different tour options. For travelers looking for more free time or access to sites such as the Cathedral, we always recommend booking the full-day tour or selecting a package that includes monument entries. Regarding the meeting point, we currently do not have restroom facilities on-site, which is why we kindly recommend arriving 15–20 minutes in advance. There are nearby cafés and restaurants where facilities are available before departure. We also operate with strict departure and return schedules out of respect for all passengers and to ensure the smooth running of the tour. While we understand this may feel restrictive in some situations, we are unfortunately unable to delay departures or wait beyond the scheduled times. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the guide, and we will continue working to ensure the overall experience matches that standard. Thank you again for your comments — they help us improve and also help future travelers choose the experience that best fits what they’re looking for.

From Madrid: Full day to Toledo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does From Madrid: Full day to Toledo cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Madrid: Full day to Toledo take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is From Madrid: Full day to Toledo worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Madrid: Full day to Toledo?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Madrid: Full day to Toledo suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Madrid: Full day to Toledo?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Madrid: Full day to Toledo start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
