Amazing overall experience, would recommend it to anyone who wishes to have perfect service

The company did exceptionally well in organizing each and everything From Kathmandu pickup to Kathmandu drop off, all admission fees, Everything was perfectly organized. The guide for my trip was Mr Karma, his enthusiasm was of a different level! On trip, Once he twisted his ankles but still he was going much much quicker than me! I used to call him Sherpa pro max!! Mr. Ramesh, took care of everything and I didn’t have a single complaint for 14 days trek! It was off peak season so we really had good time on trip! I will be certainly taking more trips with them!

Fantastic experience in a magical place

From the beginning communications to the end of my trip, I was in good hands with Cordial Trek the entire way. On any big adventure like this, something will inevitably go wrong - flights cancelled, bad weather, medical issues, etc. and you want someone who will be your advocate when you need it most. I had the pleasure of Mr. Pratip as my guide and advocate and he was simply amazing. I love birding, wildlife, flowers, and turns out he does too. Mr. Pratip pointed out things most people miss on this busy trek. We saw the elusive national bird (Himalayan monal) 5 times, saw mountain goats, snow cocks, and even two Langur monkeys close to Jorsalle (even the tea house owners said they had never seen them before!) I had one challenging day where I did not feel well and Mr. Pratip carried my backpack for 2 hours until I felt better. He always looked out for my best interest, educated me on the mountains and history of the people, and answered all my questions. When our flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla was cancelled due to weather/visability problems, Mr. Pratip made sure I got a seat on a helicopter. The chaos of everyone trying to do the same thing was stressful, but I trusted he would make it happen and he did. 5⭐️ guide and 🤩 human! Now sometimes he did forget the napkins at mealtimes, but no one is perfect. 😂

Response from the operator: Dear Sandra, Namaste and warm greetings from the Cordial Trek team! Thank you so very much for your beautiful and detailed reflection on your journey. It was truly heartening to read such kind appreciation for our efforts. We are delighted that your experience was a magical one and that the mountains seemed to be truly on your side during your sightings of the local wildlife. Most importantly, we will be sure to share your high praise with Mr. Pratip. He takes immense pride in being a dedicated advocate for our guests, and it brings us great joy to know he was there to support you so reliably during the more challenging moments of your adventure. Regarding the napkins, thank you for the lighthearted note. We have already shared a good laugh about it together and will make sure he keeps a much closer eye on the mealtime supplies for your next journey. Thank you for trusting us with your great adventure. We truly hope to welcome you back to the Himalayas in the near future. With warm regards, The Cordial Trek Team

From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $1525 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek take?

+

Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Kathmandu: 14-Day Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
