Too expensive, too much RL , which dislikes foreigners

There's nothing really to see in Constanta. Three hours' drive there, 4 1/2 hours' stay and three hours back. I saw that the tour now costs 90 euros. It's too expensive for what you get. Plus, our tour guide is very bad at speaking to foreigners. Job missed I would say. And she didn't really have a plan for what we were doing in Constanta. There was no walking tour and then leisure. She was there the whole time! I did my own thing at some point, which then earned me a WhatsApp call ("we're done on the beach") and then WhatsApp locations and messages. We're not little children!

Response from the operator: Dear tourist, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our travel agency to organize your trip to Constanta. We are also grateful for your constructive criticism, this helps us a lot to constantly improve the quality of our services. We would like to inform you that our tour is a private one, we want to offer our clients the best experiences. Please note that our tour is PREMIUM TOUR with a small group. We offer to our customers: flexibility, comfort and privacy. Also, please note that the information related with the transfer duration, price and details about the tourist attraction was listed on the website when you make the purchase. Constanta is one of the oldest cities in Romania, with a history that dates back to ancient times, where you can see how several cultures combine: Christian, Islamic, Greek and Roman culture. Among the tourist attractions of great interest in Constanta, you could see: Constanta Casino, Ovid Square, the Great Mahmudiye Mosque, the Roman Mosaic Edifice and the The Museum of Folk Art. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Bucharest?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bucharest?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bucharest?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
