Booked the Christmas...
Booked the Christmas Lites cruise with BOW VIP seating. Arrived at the dock and they did not have our reservation. Said that there were 8 open seats and they could get us on but BOW VIP seats did not exist. We waited an hour and did not get on the tour. The operator refunded us but we were our an Uber ride there and back. Don't book this tour with Viator and I would be hesitant booking direct as it does not seem well run.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. At the time of your visit, we were experiencing a technical issue with Viator that prevented some reservations from properly syncing into our booking system, which was unfortunately a bit out of our hands at the time of your reservation. Once identified, our team worked to accommodate you and issued a full refund when you chose not to board. We understand how frustrating this was and appreciate you bringing it to our attention as we continue improving our processes.

Paid higher price for something given away
The boat ride was pleasant as well as the crew. My only complaint was that they over sold the main area and started moving people into the front of the boat which had a higher priced ticket
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the ride. However, we understand how frustrating this situation felt, especially after selecting a specific ticket type. During this cruise, we made the decision to accommodate guests affected by a booking error and allow them to join us rather than leave them behind due to a mistake on our end. We hope that, in that situation, you’d understand our choice to prioritize the guest experience overall. We appreciate your understanding and your kind words about the crew and the ride.

Aside from the chilly...
Aside from the chilly temps and wind which is not something the crew can help, the experience was very cool.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review! We’re glad you still enjoyed the cruise despite the chilly weather. Being out on the water during December can definitely get breezy even in South Florida, and we appreciate your understanding. Happy to hear you found the experience fun, and we hope to welcome you back on a warmer evening next time!

Holiday Magic on the water. Loved it!
Wonderful experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend. We did the holiday lights tour at 8:30pm and loved it. It was one of the highlights of our whole trip. Our hotel was a bit of a disaster so this really lifted our spirits. The captain was funny and the boat pup was adorable! Admission fee was okay. We didn't get a choice as there were only 8 tickets left and I needed 3! Length was just right. We could have went longer though as we were having so much fun. Atmosphere was holiday magic. Christmas music and lights everywhere. Crowd was a full boat but the seating is comfy and enough room to stretch out. Not too packed on the deck. Best for all ages!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing this! We’re thrilled the holiday lights cruise ended up being such a highlight of your trip. We truly appreciate the thoughtful feedback and recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back on the water again in the future!

Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.
How much does Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.
Is Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride, Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?
+
November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
