10/10
The Sawgrass nighttime airboat tour was by far the best experience we had while visiting south Florida. Captain Adam was the best! He spotted several gators and even an alligator nest. Which momma tried to lead us away from. Capt Adam was very knowledgeable and answered many questions. He was also funny and very personable. Definitely a 10/10 trip and would 100% recommend to everyone in the area!!

A must do experience at night!
Fantastic night adventure! 5 stars for an exceptional experience!

Highly recommended
It was an amazing experience! We saw at least 5 alligators and learnt a lot about their environment. Definetely 10/10. We were not bitten by mosquitos. It made our experience even more pleasant since the mosquitos are crazy there.

Amazing Experience
We booked the night tour at Sawgrass for the 5 of us (2x adults and 3x children) and had an amazing time, we were taken out in a large airboat onto the water and saw birds of prey, aligators including babies and frogs. It was a great experience that I would definately reccomend and hope to do again.

Great Experience
Our visit to Sawgrass Recreation Park was nothing short of fantastic! From start to finish, the experience was well organized, exciting, and memorable. The highlight of the trip was definitely the night airboat tour. Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the Everglades while keeping things fun and engaging. He made a point to interact with guests throughout the ride, which really added a personal touch to the experience. Most importantly, we felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time. And the wildlife did not disappoint—the gators were active and “cooperating,” making for some thrilling and up-close moments you won’t forget. Seeing them in their natural habitat at night added a whole new level of excitement. If you’re in the area, this tour is an absolute must. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, education, and unforgettable Florida scenery!

Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.
How much does Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.
Is Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 106 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale?
+
Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florida Everglades Night Airboat Tour near Fort Lauderdale start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?
+
November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
