The good and the bad
Good: the unguided tour was good, got to see good views of the city and complex. Get a good workout climbing the bell tower. The duomo is massive and grand from inside and outside. Very impressive. Bad: Renovating the Baptistry = no good pictures, audio guide did not work which made the activity less enjoyable (no insight or context to what you are seeing). Did not send the tickets until last minute (the morning of the activity) which lead to a few phone calls and emails to Viator customer service during the week and up to the night before activity. Overall, ok but could be better. Would have been very good if audio guide was working and less anxiety waiting for tickets.
Response from the operator: Dear Victor W, Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Duomo complex, the beautiful views, and the bell tower climb. We are sorry that the audio guide did not work as expected. Had you contacted us during your visit, we would have been happy to assist you immediately. We also apologize for any concern caused by the timing of the ticket delivery. The tickets were issued in line with the attraction's release policy. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future.

Find a more reputable guide
No communication. No actual guide. Couldn’t get help on the phone I could understand. They were rude. Sold me a ticket to duomo on a day it was closed.
Response from the operator: Dear ejcaustx, Thank you for your feedback. Upon reviewing your booking, we would like to clarify that this experience was for an entry ticket with an audio guide and not a live guided tour. The tickets and access details were duly shared with you via email and WhatsApp prior to your visit. Regarding the attraction closure, we checked with the Duomo and there was no closure notification for 31st May, as the attraction was operational on that date. Nevertheless, we regret any confusion or inconvenience caused and appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Frustrating, not user friendly app that caused aggravation and delays
The app for the audio tour provided by Yo Tours, is incredibly not user friendly. The tickets emailed by Trip Advisor would not download because the service in the area I was in was not a strong signal. The app finally downloaded the audio tour and made the download available after I finished the tour. In addition, not being able to download the ticket in a timely fashion caused a lot of frustration, aggravation and a delay in our entering the first part of the tour. I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend getting any tours offered by Yo Tours
Response from the operator: Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience. . Upon reviewing your booking, we found that the tickets and tour details were shared within 30 minutes of your booking to help ensure a smooth experience. While network signal, Wi-Fi availability, and device-related performance are unfortunately beyond our direct control, we apologies the inconvenience this caused to your experience. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

time changed on ticket without notification
the bell tower climb is an incredible experience here in florence, but be sure to buy your tickets from a reputable vendor. we almost didn’t get the chance to climb it because viator changed the time on our ticket. thankfully we were allowed to go anyways.
Response from the operator: Dear Emilee N, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Upon reviewing your booking, we would like to clarify that these tickets provide guaranteed access to the Complex & bell tower, which is a very popular attraction and often sells out in advance. As mentioned in the voucher redemption instructions, the time may vary by 30–60 minutes due to operational limitations and limited visitor capacity at the tower per slot for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding and your feedback.

Acceptable
We were glad we went overall, but the audio app never worked — which was a significant drawback for us since a guided tour wasn’t available and the app was our only alternative. The company was responsive to our messages, but unfortunately the technical issue remained unresolved throughout our visit.
Response from the operator: Dear Sharrie C, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you were glad to visit overall, though we are truly sorry to hear that the audio app did not work during your experience. While we are glad that you find our team was responsive & trying to assist you with the resolution. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for future guests.

Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio cost?
+
Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 40 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.6/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Duomo Complex, Giotto Bell Tower Entry Ticket with Audio start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
