    Bad experience

The operator change date 24 horas prior the date and I need to cancel. I wouldn’t be in Florence at the date they ask.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We informed you a day before that the tour could not be confirmed due to technical issues and offered an alternative. As this was not accepted, we have processed a full refund. We have acted fairly and correctly. Best regards, My Tour In Italy.

    Will not recommend this tour

Incorrect description on how to find tour guide at the Duomo so took us very long before we finally located her. We were told she will be wearing white with a “my tour” logo on it and have some sort of green fabric with her. She had none of those. Found out that 2 others couples in our group also had the same issue. We purchased the English tour, her English was hard to understand and her facts were inaccurate and not succinct. She did not keep it interesting for everyone. And we had other issues during the tour which delayed the tour as well.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We sincerely apologize for the confusion in locating the tour guide and the issues you encountered during the tour. We understand how important clear communication and an engaging experience are, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will work to improve the process to ensure a better experience for future guests. Best regards, My Tour In Italy.

    Use with caution.

It was cancelled with no notice. We have not been contacted for a reschedule or a refund. Horrible customer service.

    Crazy visit to the Duomo

Well this was a complete disappointment for our group. First could not find our guide. No flag no special sign of the company. Had to speak with the control center that patched me through to the guide to find our check in location. Glad it was only the three of us. Very hard to understand. It was for a tour of the complete duomo including baptistery. She excused herself at the end of the duomo and we never got to see the baptistery at all . We tried to enter and was told that our guide need to be with us to enter. I will be asking for a refund on this tour. Maybe with a better guide this would have been great.

    No Show Tour Guide

Tour? What a joke. Booked this several months ago. Tour company didn’t show up and we never received a cancellation or change notification. Had to purchase individual tickets for each attraction, wait in long lines, change our afternoon plans, and now seek a refund. I’d rate this zero stars if that was an option. Also, two of my other bookings with Viator had issues on this trip too. Now I’ll be nervous for remaining tours.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback and letting us know about your experience. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied from this tour with our team. Accept our apology for the inconvenience and what happened. The time slot of the tour was changed. We emailed you regarding that, but due to an error on our system, the notification of the time change hasn't arrived to you. This has never happened before, as we always notify our clients for every change of the tour's itinerary. Sorry for this issue disturbing you, we will make sure this mistake won't happen again to any other customer. We already confirmed the full refund to Viator, as you didn't take place on the tour and in this case this is the least we can do for you. At this point, if you want to reconsider your review, we would be happy to keep in touch with you. For any other concern or anything else regarding the tour, please feel free to contact us at our email address customercare@mytours.it Best regards, My Tour in Italy team.

Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Florence Duomo Complex Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
