Great visit of tower an church.

Tower is on time because they cannot let everyone in the same time you go in with groups of 50. Great view upstairs. Be advised tower is open until 19.00 and church until 16.00! On ticket is standing no visit of soms, that means not climbing the dome, you see almost the same as the tower so why climb 2 times. You can still visit the dome underneath to see the drawings.

    Scam

The evening before the experience, scheduled at 3 pm on April 6, 2026, exactly at 9:02 pm on April 5, 2026 I received a whats up message in English among other things where they apologized but "there are no tickets". I tried to contact them the same evening, the next day when they finally answered they were only able to answer "we understand, we're sorry" meanwhile the money was not returned to me. I had booked the business over a month ago, paying for everything right away. SCANDALOUS

Cordiali saluti, Natalia

    Just alright

Nothing special to see from the top of the bell tower. There was no one from the tour company to help navigate for us. The cathedral was nice. The museum we skipped as we decided to shop. Note, the museum is closed on the first tuesday of the month. Skip the line is always worth it.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! Glad to hear that you found the cathedral beautiful and that skipping the line added value to your visit. At the same time, sorry to hear that your overall experience did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the bell tower, we understand that viewpoints can vary from person to person, and we regret that it didn’t feel as special to you. Concerning assistance on-site, we would like to clarify that this experience is designed as a self-guided visit, allowing travelers the flexibility to explore at their own pace. We recommend checking the attraction timings in advance, especially for museum visits, and taking your time to explore the cathedral, baptistery, and surrounding areas; each has its own unique history and charm that makes the visit worthwhile. Regards, Natalia

    Poor execution!

They never delivered my tickets and we were not allowed entry to the Basilica and take our tour. Very Very Very disappointing!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and completely understand how upsetting and frustrating this experience must have been for you. Arriving at the attraction and not being able to enter as planned is very disappointing, and we sincerely regret that this happened. We would like to clarify that the tickets were processed and shared in accordance with the booking details. However, for highly popular attractions, entry is strictly managed with timed slots and limited capacity. In some cases, operational or timing constraints, as well as last-minute restrictions at the venue, can impact ticket validation or entry on the day of the visit. For future travelers, we recommend carefully checking all communications for ticket details and staying in touch with support closer to the visit time, as updates or important instructions may be shared prior to entry. Also, popular attractions can have limited entry slots and high demand, arriving a bit early and staying in touch with support in case of any updates can help ensure a smoother experience. Regards, Natalia

Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Florence Cathedral Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower Entry Tickets start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
