Off-road and impressions of the north.
Great adventure in a small group in the northwest of Madeira. A wild ride over hill and dale with magnificent views and the necessary information about the land and its people. The guide was open to coordinated changes and preferences, so there was no 08/15 pit stop feeling. All in all, a great day, but one certainly has to be physically prepared for it. The back should definitely be stable. Special highlight: the almost mystical stop in the Fanal Forest.

It was the highlight of my visit to Madeira. Our driver…Jorge… was knowledgeable and great fun to be with. We managed to see the many different landscapes but never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour and our driver Jorge.

Adequate warning should be given to tourists
I need to highlight that safety is most important . At Seixal there was an incident in which two of the co travellers went for a swim and got swept into the sea . They managed to somehow make it to the shore But after a long struggle . This was one of many incidents in that location. The drivers should warn the tourists of the risks they are taking and the dangers in such locations . Viator needs to ensure that a safety warning pamphlet is issued to each person . This is an absolute must . These two girls survived but could have died that day . Many such incidents have happened .

Not only was he incredibly funny, keeping us entertained throughout the journey, but his extensive knowledge of the area and its history was spot on, making the trip both informative and enjoyable. Eduardo’s expertise behind the wheel made us feel safe and secure during the entire safari, even on the most challenging terrains. His professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. This off-road jeep safari exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exciting, funny and educational adventure. Overall rating: 5/5
