This has been a fantastic experience. Did this tour but added an extra day in Pokhara to do an ultralight flight. The main person to communicate w is Sujan and be is spectacular. From pre trip during and post he communities well and ensures each day that our needs are met and that we have no current issues. He goes above and beyond to make sure we have a fantastic experience. The guides and driver used in each location is top notch. Last min changes are never an issue and if you need it done he does so. Ovwrall, this outfit made the trip great safe and fun. Peacefully Short and Sweet
My 1st visit to Nepal with my sister, brother and sister in law under Alpine Club of Himalaya. We were there 5 nights, 6 days and went from Kathmandu to Pokhara to Nagarkot and back. Kathmandu was memorable and I felt blessed to be in all the temples. There was much peacefulness in Pasupathinath, Swayambhuthinath and Bhouddhanath. Beautiful architecture and interesting heritage in Durbar square. Guide Niranjen was knowledgeable and ever helpful, always patiently waiting our slower strides and helping when needed. 7 hour ride to Pokhara was not felt as driver and guide Ram Babu was so friendly, helpful and has a pleasant and cheerful character . If not for the slight showers during the day, our visit in Pokhara would have been better and complete. But still we had a good cool experience. Guide Krishna was also friendly and knowledgeable and ready to give a hand to my elderly sister when needed. Missed a proper sunrise in Sarangkot due to early morning rain but a tower top view was still an experience to remember. Next in Nagarkot experienced the coolest weather 8°C for my 1st time and was awesome. Sunrise and sunset was enchanting. Thanks to Sujan for a well arranged, memorable and awesome trip to Nepal and always keeping track of how we were and obliging our requests to his best. His staffs were always helpful and taking care of us. All the hotels booked were clean, great hospitality, pleasant atmosphere and meals recommended. Overall, I felt so much at peace within me in Nepal. Love Nepal, friendly and helpful people. I will definitely want to come back for a another spiritual journey under Alpine Club of Himalaya.

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $899 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Nepal In A Week – 7 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
