May couples trip
We stayed at the Charlie hotel for a couples trip with my husband. Jessica from concierge was great an helped us book the city tour with Camilo. Very comfortable and safe transportation directly from the hotel to the Comuna and other interesting site while allowing you to take in the local public transportation and get a feel for the city. Camilo was very knowledgeable and insightful. We felt we learned a lot from the tour. Definitely recommend.

Perfect family city tour with Sebastian – patient, knowledgeable, and toddler-approved!
My husband, our 3 did a city tour of Medellín with Sebastian today, and he was exceptional. Sebastian was patient, polite, and professional from the moment we met him. Traveling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but he made everything feel easy. He set a relaxed pace, was mindful of breaks, and kept our little one engaged the whole time. He’s also extremely knowledgeable and informative. We learned so much about Medellín’s history, culture, and hidden spots — he answered every question we had and shared details we never would’ve found on our own. It never felt rushed or like a script; just a natural, thoughtful conversation about the city. If you’re looking for a guide who’s both an expert and genuinely great with families, book Sebastian. He made our day. 5 stars, no hesitation. We’d absolutely tour with him again next time we’re in Colombia. Thank you, Sebastian!

Perfect way to explore Medellin with our tour guide Camilo.
What a wonderful way to explore Medellin with Camilo! We had a great day together with our teenage boys who enjoyed the day as well! If you want a really good insight in the city including the history of the city then this private tour is great for families. It is really nice to just be with the family and with Camilo who is a wonderful guide and knows everything we wanted to know.

Medellin private city tour with amazing guide
We did the tour with Camilo, and he brought a lot of color and insight to the most fascinating parts of Medellín. Being born and raised here—and having lived through the Escobar era—added real depth to everything we experienced. Of course, we visited Comuna 13, but we also took the metro and cable car to truly immerse ourselves in the rhythm of daily city life. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in history, remarkable places, and great anecdotes.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Medellín.
How much does Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13 cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Medellín usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13 take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Medellín is not rushed.
Is Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13 worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Medellín, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13 suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Medellín can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Medellín and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explora Medellin City Tour Con C13 start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Medellín within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Medellín?
+
On Outty we rank every Medellín experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guatapé Tour: Piedra del Peñol with Boat Tour, Breakfast, Lunch, Half-Day Coffee Tour: From the Seed to the Cup, Farm & roastery, Private Guatape & Coffee Farm Tour: The Two Must do in One Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Medellín?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Medellín?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
