    2. Playa La Entrega

Playa La Entrega It is a historic beach where in 1831 after being betrayed in Acapulco, the president of the Mexican republic, General Vicente Guerrero was handed over to the military loyal to the authors of the rebellion and taken near the city of Oaxaca to be tried and shot. The bay of "Maguey" has its name from the green color of its waters, similar to the leaves of the cactus of the same name, with which we distill Tequila and Mezcal. We will stop for 2 hours to enjoy very fresh seafood at the restaurant recommended by your guide. The specialty of the Huatulco coast is a pineapple stuffed with seafood. First they cut a pineapple in two part, remove the pulp and fill it with a béchamel sauce with seafood to your liking, after distributing cheese on top, it is passed into a wood oven to gratin it. Another specialty is the "four by four", 16 shcrimps, cooked in four different ways. Also dishes with meats or giant pizza if you don't like seafood.

    Well worth the cost.

Quite an experience. the Panga we had was clean, well equipped and the driver was personable, knowledgeable and knew right where to go to find the whales and dolphins that breeched within yards of us. In fact, there were times when we could have reached out and touched some of the dolphins that swam beside the panga. We've been on these types of trips in other parts of the world in the past, but this one was the best. Highly recommend it.

Response from the operator: Hola, hank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed such close encounters with whales and dolphins, and that our team made it truly memorable. It means a lot to hear this was your best experience. We appreciate your recommendation! — The Paraiso Huatulco Team.

Amazing boat trip, don't rent the leaky snorkel gear

Great shuttle, great boat, great captain. We loved the views and beaches. The only issue we had was the snorkel gear. We rented 3 sets and 2 of them leaked between the mouth piece and tube. The result was we would choke on salt water every thirty seconds. We stopped using the leaky equipment and just swam, which was too bad because the snorkeling was incredible, truly world class. I tried to get my money back for 2 of 3 snorkels but was told we could not get our money back because we had rented it. I was very disappointed in the snorkle gear. I highly recommend the boat trip, just bring your own snorkel gear.

Response from the operator: Hola, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for recommending the boat trip. We’re truly happy to know you enjoyed the shuttle service, the captain, and the stunning bays and beaches of Huatulco. Regarding the snorkel equipment, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The snorkel gear is provided by an external supplier, but of course this does not change your experience. We are immediately reviewing this situation with the provider to check the equipment quality and prevent this from happening again. Your comments are very valuable and help us improve. We hope to welcome you back soon for an even better experience. The Paraiso Huatulco Team.

    Fun snorkelling trip

Diego was a great guide. Excellent. Almost a private tour as only 2 of us on the boat and he allowed us to snorkel where we wanted. Shorter trip than we anticipated and I think we only did 5 of the bays, we were back at dock by 1pm.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience, David! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the snorkeling trip and that Diego provided excellent guidance and flexibility, making it feel almost like a private tour. That kind of personalized experience is exactly what we aim to offer. We also appreciate your comment regarding the duration and the number of bays visited. Your feedback is valuable and helps us continue improving how we communicate and operate our tours. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Huatulco for another adventure in the future. The Paraiso Huatulco Team.

How many days do you need in Huatulco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
