Thanks to Ira our great driver!
Booked through hotel concierge Ira met us on time and was a delightful driver and host from start to finish. The boat tour was good albeit very hot and we saw a lot of gators. Going early worked well for us.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We are delighted to hear Ira made such a positive impression by providing timely, friendly transportation and being a wonderful host throughout your visit. Starting early can be a great way to experience the Everglades, and it sounds like your timing paid off with plenty of alligator sightings along the way. Our Everglades airboat tour at Everglades Holiday Park gives guests the chance to travel deep into the wetlands, enjoy the excitement of the airboat ride, and see native wildlife in its natural environment. We truly appreciate you choosing Everglades Holiday Park and hope to welcome you back for another memorable airboat tour adventure.

Must do activity in this area.
Good mix of excitement and fear. Captain Jeff was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We saw about six alligators. We took a taxi from Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal to the park which was about $85. On the way back we took an Uber and it was about $45. It takes about 30 minutes.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We are so glad Captain Jeff made your Everglades airboat tour at Everglades Holiday Park such a fun and memorable adventure with his knowledge, friendliness, and sense of humor. Seeing around six alligators in their natural habitat is an exciting part of the ride, and that mix of speed, wildlife, and just a little bit of adrenaline is exactly what makes an airboat tour through the Everglades so unique. We also appreciate you sharing the transportation details for other travelers coming from the Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable airboat ride at Everglades Holiday Park.

Better than Alligator Ally
About 15 years ago, we went to the middle of the Everglades and didn’t see one animal. We saw 4 gators and an alligator nest, so I was very happy with this place. Airboat ride was pretty pleasant. We did the animal encounter which was fun. A little on the pricey side. Liked the alligator show. Tour guides need to get Venmo.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We are glad Everglades Holiday Park delivered such a rewarding visit, especially after your previous Everglades trip years ago. Seeing four wild alligators and an alligator nest can make an Everglades airboat tour especially memorable, since wildlife sightings are always part of the excitement of exploring a natural ecosystem. It is also great to hear you enjoyed the airboat ride, Animal Encounter, and alligator presentation, which together give guests several different ways to experience and learn about the wildlife of South Florida. We appreciate your feedback on pricing and the suggestion about Venmo for our guides. We hope to welcome you back to Everglades Holiday Park for another exciting airboat tour through the wetlands.

Recommend hour vs 1/2...
Recommend hour vs 1/2 hour ride. We saw alligators, birds, turtles, lizards. Very informative and fun ride
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We are glad you enjoyed the longer airboat ride and had the chance to see such a great variety of Everglades wildlife, including alligators, birds, turtles, and lizards. An extended Everglades airboat tour at Everglades Holiday Park gives guests more time to explore the wetlands, enjoy the excitement of the ride, and slow down for wildlife sightings and informative commentary along the way. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are happy your airboat adventure was both fun and educational.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.
How much does Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides cost?
+
Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.
Is Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 1,982 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides?
+
Around 694 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everglades Holiday Park Airboat Tours & Rides start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?
+
November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
