Fun, Convenient Everglades Experience. Highly Recommend!
We loved the experience and highly recommend it. The package includes a shuttle to Everglades Holiday Park with many pickup/drop-off locations around Miami. Ours was only a 2-minute walk away. The bus ride was also entertaining, with the driver/comedian sharing Miami history and pointing out landmarks. The airboats hold about 15-20 people, and the 45-minute to 1-hour ride gave us plenty of chances to see alligators, birds, and other wildlife. You don’t get wet since the boats have windshields and most of the spray goes behind you. Afterward, there’s a live alligator show and an opportunity to take a picture with a baby gator. One important note: you pay $25 per person online, but there is also an additional $35 per person cash payment to the driver. Overall, it was a fun and well organized experience.

So much fun!
Armando is the best tour guide. We were picked up at the hotel and did not wait long to get on the boat. We saw 6 alligators!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great experience with Armando and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel pickup. Seeing six alligators is definitely an exciting day on the water! We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure soon.

Nice ride but not in Everglades National Park
Title of tour was misleading. Very disappointed that this excursion was in Ft. Lauderdale instead of the Everglades National Park. However, the airboat captain was informative, we saw a few alligators and other wildlife, and the ride on the man-made canals nice.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the location did not meet your expectations. Our Everglades experience takes place at an authorized airboat park within the Everglades ecosystem in Broward County, rather than inside Everglades National Park. We appreciate your comments and will review our tour description to ensure the location is communicated as clearly as possible to avoid any misunderstanding. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the airboat captain’s informative commentary and had the opportunity to see alligators and other local wildlife. Thank you for joining us and for helping us improve the experience for future guests.

Good experience, but was hoping to see more wildlife
The trip to Everglades National Park was overall good and the transportation was well organized. During the airboat ride, a large area of wetland has been seen, which is quite attractive. The environment and conservation information in the guide was also instructive. However, I expected to see more wildlife, but the presence of animals on that day was relatively low. Also, the airboat ride would have been a little longer. Nevertheless, it is an enjoyable tour for those interested in learning about nature and the environment.
Response from the operator: We're glad to hear that you found the transportation well organized and enjoyed exploring the Everglades. The vast wetlands, unique ecosystem, and environmental importance of this remarkable area make it a truly special destination, and we're happy that you found the information provided by the guide both interesting and educational. Regarding wildlife sightings, the Everglades is a natural environment, and the number of animals visible can vary greatly depending on factors such as weather conditions, time of day, season, and animal activity. While we always hope guests will see a wide variety of wildlife, sightings can never be guaranteed since the animals roam freely in their natural habitat. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the duration of the airboat ride. We'll certainly keep your comments in mind as we continue working with our partners to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 79 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everglades Airboat Experience – Wildlife & Wetlands start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
