….. Spend $ elsewhere
We arrived early and the staff was very kind, but the building was in rough shape and not clean. Ceiling was caving in and spider webs were all over the ceiling. We were made to think it was a double decker bus, but loaded up in vans. We get to the tour and were told we would have less than an hour to explore (all of us were under the impression we would have between 2-3 hours since they advertised 5 hours and it took almost an hour to get there and get back). The Everglades tour faculty was again nice, but that’s where it stopped. We were loaded on the boat and were told of areas to look for the gators, but it was lack luster. You run along the same path has all the other boats, so all animals disappeared. We knew that there was no guarantee to see animals and were ok with it, but the tour and commentary from the Guide was lackluster. We were out for maybe 30 minutes (instead of what we thought was 40-60 minutes) came back and saw the reptile show. The Guide was nice and showed a few things, but was done in about 15 minutes. The speakers in the reptile show did not work and was hard to hear some. Bathrooms were in need of repair and we had zero time to look around before being put back on the vans. The driver of our van definitely was speeding and prepare for whiplash. Tips were mentioned NUMEROUS times, which we normally give, but not this time. Overall it felt very much like false advertisement. I would strongly recommend spending the money on a private tour or trying out Holiday Tours instead! It stinks that we were only in town for the day and this was for my husbands birthday. Better luck next time ! Everyone in our van felt the same way.

What a fantastic bucket list experience!
Came here at the end of July 26 with my wife and 4 children...WOW!!! What an experience! The air boat ride was exhilarating and so fulfilling. We got to see 4 gators along with various other wildlife (birds, turtles and fish). This was a bucket list trip for me and when the boat got speeding and drifting I could not believe I was experiencing it. Our captain, John, was very friendly, funny and informative. The wildlife show after was fantastic, delivered by Tom. He made it such an interactive and humourous presentation. Our kids were so fascinated by the huge predators on show on such close proximity and how Tom interacted with them. The transport to and from was great. A large transit van with air con taking 50 mins either side. We would definitely recommend this and is great value. We have been in Florida for 2 weeks now and this has by far been a big highlight!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 985 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation?
+
Around 345 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everglades Airboat Safari Adventure with Transportation start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
