    Worthwhile experience

A great day out and a must-do if you’re in Miami! Our guide really went out of his way to help us spot alligators—and we saw about six!! The experience itself was definitely worthwhile. The bus ride was quite long with multiple pick-ups, so next time I’d probably take an Uber instead, which would be around $60 USD.

Response from the operator: Hi there! Reviews like yours make our day. I’m so happy you enjoyed the tour, and we really appreciate your kind words. Warmly, Vincent

    Family fun on the Everglades

We enjoyed ourselves. The guide Jo was funny and informative. She claimed to have had the fastest airport the company had. We did see three Alligators in the river.

Response from the operator: Hi there; We are thrilled that you enjoyed the Alligator Spotting Airboat Tour with us, thanks for your awesome review. Best regards, Vincent

Great Everglades experience but horrible bus ride

The Everglades holiday park was great. Got to see 3 alligators, a few birds and lizards. This would have been a 5 star review if it hadn't been the pathetic bus experience. First, the bus was 20 min late. Also, it broke down causing further 1 hour delay. It was raining heavily when we were returning. The driver didn't announce when we reached our drop off location. Us and multiple other passengers had to get off at the next stop in heavy rain and then pay for surcharge Uber pricing to get back to our original location. The driver didn't even apologize.

Response from the operator: Dear Mohit: Thank you for your fantastic feedback on the wildlife at the Everglades Park—we're thrilled you enjoyed seeing the alligators, birds, and lizards! However, we are deeply sorry and sincerely apologize for the absolutely unacceptable bus experience you endured. The 20-minute delay, the breakdown causing a further hour's wait, and the driver's failure to announce your stop in heavy rain are completely contrary to the service standards we uphold. Please know that all mechanical issues were fixed immediately, as guest safety is our top priority. We understand the frustration and extra cost of the Uber, and we apologize for the driver’s lack of apology. Best regards, Vincent

    Horrible customer service

We got a meeting point which we could not reach due to the road being blocked. Meeting point could not be changed and no refund since it was to close to departure. Offered to meet up at the lake and join the group to get our tickets that we paid for. But then they claimed to be sold out!!!! So we got nothing for the money. Btw don't fall for the special price, that's not applief for the tour anyway.

Response from the operator: Dear Ms. Perjus: We regret to inform you that you missed your scheduled tour. Despite a confirmation of the meeting point sent 24 hours in advance, you did not arrive, and the tour departed as scheduled. All 18 other participants were present and on time. We must adhere to the scheduled departure time to ensure a positive experience for all our guests. Sincerely, Vincent

    Not again

Felt like I was being herded through Disneyland…due to multiple boats in our area of the Everglades it was not the peaceful experience I had hoped for. The alligator experience was good

Response from the operator: Hello: We understand your frustration with the large crowds. We highly recommend taking the morning tour during peak season, when it is less crowded, given that our Everglades tours are the most popular activity in South Florida. Best regards, Vincent

Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami cost?

    +

Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 296 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami?

    +

Around 104 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Everglades Airboat Wildlife Refuge with Roundtrip Bus from Miami start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
