Terrible air boat tour experience
I booked an airboat tour and needed to know where to park before the tour started. The company told me I could park at the Monte Carlo Hotel, but that information was incorrect, public parking was not allowed there. I tried calling their office for clarification, but the office was closed at the time the tour was scheduled to begin, so there was no way to get help. The meeting location was unmarked and difficult to identify. The bus arrived 45 minutes late. When it finally arrived, the driver was rude and refused to wait for my family to board. He told me another bus was coming, which was not true , no second bus ever arrived. After this, the company refused to issue a refund. They claimed I was rude and also that I was not at the meeting location on time, which is contradictory. Despite the confusion and their own delays, they would not resolve the issue until I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor communication and customer service. I would not book with this company again.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. The meeting location and parking information are listed on the voucher and booking confirmation, and guests are asked to arrive at the designated meeting point prior to departure time so the shuttle can depart on schedule for all passengers. As this is a shared transfer service, the driver must continue the route and cannot wait if guests are not present at the pickup point. Our records also indicate that the vehicle did operate that day, and additional departures were scheduled as part of the service. If there was confusion regarding parking or the meeting location, we regret that it affected your experience. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve communication for future guests.

It's a trap.
Do not take the bus ! If you go to the park you can save $35 a ticket just by driving there!!! Very unorganized. At no fault of there own If you have to park at Bayside it's gonna cost you $30 to park! So I lost out on almost $100 . Don't do it people
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the challenges with transportation and parking, but we're glad to know you didn’t have any complaints about our service itself — that really means a lot to us! We’ll continue working hard to ensure every part of the experience is as smooth as possible. Safe travels and thanks again for your feedback!

Packed tourist trap
When they say small group semi private tour what they mean is a sprinter van packed full of people for an hour long ride to the park. They then put you in a 30 person airboat with an incredibly loud speaker to yell commentary through. If you walk past the airboat captain when you leave without tipping he yells “wow really” at you. The van guide Christian was nice though.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the tour weren’t to your liking and affected your overall experience. Please know that we take your feedback seriously and will work on improving those situations that may cause discomfort to our passengers. We sincerely appreciate your comments and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back so you can leave with a better impression of our company. We would love to have you with us again!

Ugh.. so disappointing!
Partly my fault because I left the reservations to the hotel concierge, but airboat tours with 22 people in a boat are NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. My husband and I went on an airboat tour in the swamps of New Orleans with just the two of us and it was exhilarating and totally what I had in mind for this trip. You’re packed on a horribly uncomfortable boat (0% leg room for my 6’7” husband) that you can’t see out of, only to troll around for an hour at a slow pace. We got to go “fast” 3 times. It was very windy and everything the captain said on his microphone was like loud white noise. We did see a 3 foot alligator, but that was it. If you want to airboat the Everglades find a private tour. This is just a tourist trap.
Response from the operator: Florida and New Orleans are completely different experiences and the captain of the boat is looking for live interaction and the airboat can scare away. The weather is out of our control

Long bus tripp well worth it.
Tour and retour from Miami center. A bit boring tour to the Park, though a guide gave us information with a sense of humor on the way. So also the " captain" whe we went out in the " Glades" We sat in the rear of the boat on the right side. That engine behind really blew the wax out of our ears.AND as we cruised along the inlets, the left side was closer to the evt. " crocos" to pop up. They were to be seen at the show later. So - wear ear plugs during the ride. During the tour there are a lot of water plants, some with flowers. A few interesting birds. " Allie" had been seen earlier that day. Who lured under the surface remained unseen for us. The show afterwards was thilling, with a brave guy playing with those animals, even kissed one.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everglades Airboat Adventure with Roundtrip Bayside Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
