EBC trek (just Perfect)
Our Guide: Ramu A huge shoutout to our guide, Ramu. He was professional, knowledgeable, and always made sure we were comfortable. Even when one member of our group fell sick, Ramu stayed calm and handled everything with such efficiency and care. His organization during that stressful moment was top, ensuring we could continue safely while feeling supported. Our Host: Bimal Everything was seamlessly organized by Bimal. We stayed at his place in Kathmandu, and he took care of all the logistics. We truly didn't have to lift a finger he managed the itinerary, the bookings, and ensured everything ran like clockwork. Why we recommend them: • Stress-Free: Everything (including meals/tea) was included. We could just focus on the trek and the stunning scenery. • Communication: Their English was excellent, making communication easy and enjoyable throughout the journey. • The Views: Absolutely breathtaking! Every day offered a new, stunning perspective of the Himalayas. • Reliability: Even with medical hiccups, the team was prepared and proactive. There was honestly nothing to complain about. If you are looking for a perfectly organized EBC trek with a personal touch, look no further than Bimal and Ramu. We couldn't be happier with our choice! Greetings Ben/Hanna

Wholeheartedly recommend
I did the EBC trek with Ganesh - awesome guide, and a fierce card player (prepare your mind to be blown by the Nepalese romi). Trek itself is really beautiful, the highlight of the trip was climbing Kalapathar - beats the EBC in my opinion. Lodges picked on the way with Ganesh were really good, clean, and very hospitable

Well organized trek in exquisite nature
We were so lucky to find Bimal via his AirBnB where we stayed before starting the adventure. The trek was very well organized and clearly communicated from the beginning. We met our incredible guide Ganesh at the day of departure and flew from Ramechhap to Lukla (since Kathmandu airport was under renovation). During the trek, Ganesh took care that we continued as far as we were capable and made sure we acclimatized well before continuing. We learned a lot about the Himalayas, Nepal and local culture and had lots of fun with Ganesh. Especially in the evenings playing Nepali card games. The lodges we stayed at were comfortable with warm dining rooms and good food. Of course, the bedroom is cold at such high altitude so we needed our sleeping bags which Bimal kindly helped us arrange along with the other necessary gear. It took us 8 days to go to EBC and 4 days to get back to Kathmandu. It was hard to do, but we are glad we succeeded! We recommend the company if you want a hassle-free, enjoyable and unforgettable trek to EBC.

Everest Base Camp trek 11 days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp trek 11 days cost?
+
Prices start at $1,400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp trek 11 days take?
+
Plan for about 264 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp trek 11 days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp trek 11 days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp trek 11 days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 264-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp trek 11 days?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp trek 11 days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
