Best trip ever!

I took the helicopter tour with my son's partner. We had a fantastic time. The views were amazing of course, Everest base camp is iconic and to see the Himalayas so close up was wonderful. In addition the organisation of the trip was first class, picked up from the hotel promptly, taken to the airport right to the helicopter operator - everything was so straighforward for us end to end. The pilot was very good, he spoke excellent english and was great at giving us information at all times, both for aircraft safety and also tourist info. I would totally recommend this trip.

For all things Nepal you want them!

We had the most incredible time using this company they planned and arranged our whole 5 days in Nepal. Including internal flights, they were super responsive and accommodating. Could not recommend enough!

Awesome helicopter tour

Awesome experience on this heli tour. Spent a couple of hours at Hotel Everest View. It was magical to have breakfast there with the backdrop of Mount Everest. EBC landing was not permitted and I wish it had happened. However, the views and the time spent at such close proximity to Mount Everest was a once in a lifetime experience. Kudos to Bishnu for always being there to answer any questions and for making the booking process smooth. Pickup from and drop off to hotel was included. Thank you Nepal Hiking Adventure Company for making this happen.

The Majestic View of Everest and other Himalayas!!

I’m glad that I booked my tour with Nepal Hiking Adventure company. The majestic Everest view and the calmness I found in the trip was in its self the highlight of this trip. In fact, I booked this Everest Heli tour on off season (December) so it was not sure whether the flight would be sure or not cause of frequent weather changes on Everest region but fortunately this company made sure to fly us to Everest even by waiting there with us for almost 3 hours even through this tour may had been cancelled due to weather misfortunes. Furthermore, after flying with my friend from Nepal who came just before myself it was even more amazing. The fact that there was snow cause of the recent snowfall made it worthwhile to wait for the tour. In my personal opinion after having this mesmerizing Everest experience, I would recommend to fly in December ever if there is low chance of success cause the risk is fruitful and also this company is so trustful the they would make sure to make the trip a success. Thank you, so so much dear Bishnu and the team of Nepal Hiking Adventure. Make sure to keep it up.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing cost?

+

Prices start at $1999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Landing start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
