3Day, 2Night….AMAZING!
We actually did the 3 day, 2 night cruise which was fantastic. I would highly recommend this over the 2 day as the middle day was our favorite day. Giang was a fantastic host and took care of us at every turn. The onboard spring role making , crepes, happy hour and squid fishing were all well organized and fun. All excursions off the boat were also well done. Rooms were small but expected with an old boat, but we were upgraded to a bigger room our second night which was great. Food and drinks were exceptional and the atmosphere on board was relaxing and everything we hoped it would be.

Stepped onto a Time Machine
Such a wonderful experience. Not overly flashy like some of the other ships a balance of modern comforts and old world charm. In general Ha Long Bay just spectacular. A must see if you’re traveling in this region.

A historical boat with excellent service
Great experience with excellent service! Giang the boat manager made the experience so special and always went out of her way to make sure we had the best time! She has the friendliest energy and her 20+ years on Émeraude makes her the perfect guide and expert. Giang and the staff make this place so special. We stayed in the Paul Roques suite, which has a nice private balcony at the front of the ship that we recommend with booking as we spent most of our time there. The Émeraude boat has historical roots / you can read the whole history which makes it one of the most special in the bay. Facilities are well maintained given its age.

Incredible Experience with Amazing Service
We had such a wonderful time reliving memories made from the last time we were on the boat. Everything was just as we remember, high quality, perfect service, amazing sights and very relaxing. Giang, the boat manager, was truly incredible, professional and kind. Thank you to the whole crew and Giang who made this experience so great for us. We highly recommend the Emeraude experience in the beautiful Halong Bay.
