Superb.
Perfect service, pick up location right in the center of Malaga, friendly welcome, good bikes. And when you say where you are cycling to, they immediately send you the ideal cycling route to that destination via Whatstapp. Many and well maintained bike paths in and around Malaga.
Response from the operator: Bedankt voor je mooie review! 😊 Fijn om te horen dat je tevreden was met de service, de fietsen en de routes. Hopelijk tot een volgende keer in Málaga!

Inconsistent Rentals
This was our 2nd rental with Ebike Malaga. The previous rental was ten days earlier and was wonderful. This experience, however, was quite different. Having rented from three different vendors in Malaga over ten days, we had been impressed with the quality of all the bikes, up until this rental. We notified the store ahead of time that we would be there around 11:00, rather than 10:00, and figured that would allow them to get their tour groups out of the way and allow for a more relaxed start to our day. We showed up a little past 11:00 and there were a few people/small groups waiting, who received very nice bikes, once again. There were two black, clunky, dirty old ebikes parked out front with front fenders that were not in line with the wheel. Dani greeted us and said these would be our bikes for the day. We were curious and honestly, not-so-happy, especially for the rental price. We tried riding the bikes around for a few minutes, but each time we made a turn, the handlebars jiggled and felt unstable through the turn and felt unsafe. We quickly decided to return to the store and ask for other bikes. These bikes were seriously of very poor quality and unsafe. Dani tried to excuse the poor condition and age of the bikes, but told us he had a tour returning in 15 minutes, if we could just wait. We said OK and told him we would grab a coffee around corner and return shortly. From the café, we could see the shop. The tour returned in 45 minutes and we allowed another 10-15 minutes for him to find two appropriate bikes for us. The two bikes we received certainly looked much better, but one of them had issues with shifting. My friend was incredibly frustrated and wanted to return the bikes again. At this point, it was already 12:30 or so. We only had a little over 3 hours of riding time available, due to a scheduled reservation later in the afternoon. We chose to trade bikes with one another and I rode around a parking lot down the rode for 10 minutes or so. After turning off the electronic "assist" and running through changing the gears several times, I was finally able to change to a higher gear and chose Eco mode, then simply stopped changing gears, for the most part. I turned the Eco assist on and off several times on our way to the Guadalhorce Reserve and surrounding neighborhoods. After a few miles, the gears seemed to sort themselves out, but I did not want to risk further frustration (or damage) and shifted as little as possible. Upon returning the bikes, Dani asked how our day had been. My friend told him it was pretty awful, due to all the bike issues. I explained the problems with the 2nd bike and explained my frustration. Dani apologized for the 2nd faulty bike, saying that he "assumed" the bikes were good to go since they just came off a short tour. Unfortunately, he failed to verify that the bikes were, in fact, ready for another rental. Rather than adjusting the price, Dani offered a 50% discount if we wanted to rent for another day. After that fiasco, why would I ever trust them with another rental? I think the "key" lesson is to not overbook your rentals, which results in diminishing the reputation of your company and take an additional two minutes of time to assure your product is ready to go. Due to this rental, I can not recommend EBike Malaga.

Bike outing
Bicycles were waiting for us. We were given locks and a double pannier and basket. Had no problems along the way. Bikes were in good condition. A little explanation / route map would have been nice. But when we asked about this we did get an explanation. This everytric bike rental is definitely recommended
Response from the operator: Thanks for your feedback! Glad the bikes were ready and in good shape, and that you found the e-bike hire helpful. We appreciate your suggestion about the route info and are happy our team could assist.

Excellent unguided e-bike ride to Penon Del Cuervo
Great service. Super convenient. Bikes were ready and waiting for us. Fun ride to the point. Stopped for a nice lunch at one of the so many bustling beachside restaurants.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your positive feedback! you are welcome back anytime at Ebike Malaga!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Electric Bike Rental in Malaga: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Electric Bike Rental in Malaga cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Electric Bike Rental in Malaga take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Electric Bike Rental in Malaga worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Electric Bike Rental in Malaga?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Electric Bike Rental in Malaga suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Electric Bike Rental in Malaga?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Electric Bike Rental in Malaga start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
