An Unforgettable Experience at Caminito del Rey

I thoroughly enjoyed walking the Caminito del Rey and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my visit to the Costa del Sol. The walk itself was exceptional. The spectacular cliffside pathways, dramatic gorge and breathtaking scenery make this a truly unforgettable experience. There is something incredibly special about walking through this landscape and experiencing the Caminito from such a unique perspective. It was an adventure I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. My only criticism would be the organisation at the entry point. It felt somewhat disorganised, particularly as there didn’t appear to be much adherence to the start times specified on the tickets. A clearer system for managing entry times would make the experience considerably smoother and reduce some of the initial confusion. That said, once on the Caminito, everything was well worth it. The scenery, the engineering and the overall experience more than made up for the slightly chaotic start. I would absolutely recommend Caminito del Rey to anyone visiting Andalucía or the Costa del Sol. It was one of the standout experiences of my entire trip and a memory I’ll take away with me. 🇪🇸🥾🏞️

Memorable family experience made easy by this tour company!

Great experience with my family. Very relaxed and easy walk with scenic views. Memorable experience for my kids. Tour guide was very nice, we opted to go at our own pace. Bus was clean and transportation simple. Not the company’s fault but we are fast walkers and had to wait a while for slower group to reach finish so we could depart. Recommend!

    REY Caminito good trip!

Excellent tour, great guide, beautiful landscape and a nice hike. The caminito del rey reminds us how small we are, how awesome God is in all His creations and the brillance of mankind's ingenuity!

    Great experience

Great experience, highly recommend for anyone visiting Malaga. Our guide was very knowledgable and the radios were great and meant we could walk and enjoy the views and still hear the history. Food and drink is very reasonably priced when you get to the end too, not like most tourist attractions!

How much does Caminito del Rey with Pickup from Malaga City cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Caminito del Rey with Pickup from Malaga City take?

Is Caminito del Rey with Pickup from Malaga City worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 95 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 819 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Caminito del Rey with Pickup from Malaga City?

Is Caminito del Rey with Pickup from Malaga City suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

    +

Around 287 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Malaga?

    +

On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Malaga?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Malaga?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
