Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga
I would highly recommend the Evening Tapas tour. From the moment I made the booking I received clear emails confirming the arrangements and instructions on where and when to meet our guide. Vincent replied promptly and couldn’t do enough to make our evening memorable. Our guide Paco was born and raised in Malaga and his love of the city, its food and culture was infectious. We are a family of four, three vegetarians and a meat eater. Paco had carefully chosen a menu that suited us all and introduced us to some superb local red wines. As we walked between the restaurants he gave us a history of Malaga and took us into a beautifully restored church. He gave us lots of inspiration for places to see and visit while we were in the city. Four days just wasn’t enough to see this wonderful city and I can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you Vincent and Paco for a fabulous evening.

Private tapas tour
Damian (our guide) was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. We sampled three different tapas restaurants in the centre of Malaga with interesting commentary of the city’s history interspersed between. We ate delicious food, had lovely (very quaffable) wine and had a real laugh with Damian. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Just unreal...
Damian did an excellent job presenting/selling Málaga to us. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and was more than happy to answer all our questions. The spots chosen for the food tasting were just divine and remarkable. He even showed us one and two little hidden gems. Thanks again Damian!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the tour and the food spots—we’re lucky to have such delicious local flavors to share! It was a pleasure spending time with you and showing you some of Málaga’s hidden gems. I always try to make the experience both informative and enjoyable, so I’m thrilled to hear it came through. Thanks again for joining me, and I hope you’ll come back to discover even more of what this beautiful city has to offer! — Damián

Outstanding evening tapas tour - recommended for the start of any trip to Malaga
We booked a group tour which ended up with only ourselves and our guide Paco. That was a real gift as I’m sure Paco must know every restaurant owner and waiter in Malaga. We visited three separate tapas restaurants, were met with the hosts ready for us and had a variety of different local specialties with a glass of wine or beer( alcohol free if preferred). Ham croquettes, paella, pork in moscatel sauce and jamon iberico esp good. A great way to be introduced to some excellent places to eat. While we were there Paco was checking up on options to suit vegetarians. We ended up with a walk through the oldest bar in town. Paco had already taken us to various well known and less well known sites and told us the history of the places as we walked between restaurants. Top tips - Have a light lunch and don’t feel you have to eat all the bread!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that your small-group tour turned into a personalized experience with Paco — he truly does have a special connection with Málaga and its local food scene. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the variety of tapas, the thoughtful vegetarian options, and the blend of history and gastronomy throughout the tour. Paco will be thrilled to know his efforts were so appreciated! Thank you also for the great tips, we couldn’t agree more! We hope to welcome you again soon for another taste of Málaga.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga cost?
+
Prices start at $103 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Evening Tapas Tour in Malaga start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
