Wonderful ride and walking tour of the city

This was a great and thorough tour of the city! You got to see and taste local foods at authentic Mexican stands. Vicho was very knowledgeable about Puerto Vallarta, the culture, history and changes that have occurred over the years! This is a long tour, wear comfortable shoes. but its customizable to what you want to see and how much time you want to spend. Thank you Vicho for an excellent day of information on Vallarta culture!

    What an awesome experience!

What a great experience! Thalia was an extraordinary companion. She speaks impeccable French and introduced us to the history and culture of the Nayarit region. With his colleague Vicho, we visited a host of beautiful places full of history. Thalia and Vicho respected our rhythm, created a tailor-made program for us to really soak up the local way of life and gave us experiences we will never forget. Respectful tourism, personalized and oh so interesting. Thalia, a thoughtful and captivating guide, is highly recommended. What an awesome experience! Thalia proved to be a world-class guide for our family. She spoke perfect French, allowing us to understand the history and the culture of the Nyarit region. She and her colleague Vicho took us to many amazing sights and were both extremely knowledgeable. Their custom itinerary was perfect for our family, and we never felt rushed while discovering the local lifestyle and history. We really appreciated their local-conscious approach and their attention to detail. We highly recommend taking them along to discover the region.

    Touring PV

We had a wonderful tour of Puerto Vallarta that included a butterfly sanctuary situated on 3 acres . About a 5 hour tour with the butterfly sanctuary taking 1 hour. We even had a chance to release butterflies that were about 3hrs old. You will have to go to hear the legend of releasing butterflies! We opted for a city tour that took us to areas away from the tourist areas. We had a wonderful guide, Vicho, who was full of knowledge about Mexico, the history, current events, and shared a Iove for his own neighbourhood. Lunch was included at a lovely little restaurant we would never have found on our own. I wish I remembered the name so I could give it a plug but I don't. Would definitely us Vallarta Natours again and would love to spend more time with Vicho.

Perfect private Puerto Vallarta Driving and Walking Tour!

Thalia was the perfect guide for our group of 5. Communication prior to pick up excellent, punctual pick up at the cruise ship port, her knowledge about everything Puerto Vallarta was fabulous! Her tour, a 5 hour mix of driving along the coast and into the back country (in a very comfortable van and she provided unlimited refreshments), walking tour of old town and tequila tasting in a remote area away from the tourist path were memorable! And her personality just charming. Highly recommended tour guide

Response from the operator: Puerto Vallarta has lots to offer by water as well as by land...every street, corner has its magic. Just need to have all you senses on. I spend a lovely morning with you!

Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.

How much does Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta cost?

    +

Prices start at $380 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.

Is Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Educational and fun Private City tour- Puerto Vallarta start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?

    +

On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
