Highly Recommended Company – 10/10
We had an incredible Everest Base Camp trek with Happy Mountain Nepal. Everything was well organised from flights and permits to accommodation and equipment, which made our trip stress-free as we travelled from Australia with our 10-year-old son. They even helped us find great hire shops in Kathmandu to rent gear like down jackets and sleeping bags, so we didn’t have to travel with a suitcase full of gear. The trek was amazing. What really stood out was the team's knowledge and support every step of the way. The team was incredibly experienced and set a perfect pace, never pushing too hard but keeping us moving steadily. They knew exactly when to rest, when to hydrate and how to keep us motivated when the trails got tough. The trek was amazing and flawless . But the real test came when our return flight from Lukla was cancelled. While the ticketing counter was chaotic with all the stranded passengers sorrounding it to get tickets, all we had to do was call Resham (owner) in Kathmandu and he worked his magic, securing us seats on another flight while many others were not so lucky. We highly recommend Happy Mountain Nepal to anyone planning the Everest Base Camp or any other adventure or tours in Nepal. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family and we are so happy that we chose one of the best company out there. Thank you for everything ! !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review. It truly means a lot to us that your Everest Base Camp journey with your family, especially with your young son, was such a positive and memorable experience. We’re delighted to hear that everything felt smooth and stress-free from the planning stage in Australia to the trek itself. Helping families travel comfortably, including arranging reliable gear rental and maintaining the right trekking pace, is something we always take great care in. Your kind words about our team’s support, experience, and encouragement along the trail are deeply appreciated. Flight disruptions in Lukla can sometimes be challenging, so we’re very happy we could quickly assist and make sure your journey home continued smoothly. Knowing that we could ease that stressful moment for your family means a great deal to us. Thank you again for trusting Happy Mountain Nepal with such an important family adventure and for your strong recommendation. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome your family back to Nepal for another unforgettable Himalayan experience in the future!

Great Trekking Company in Nepal
My experience with Happy Nepal Mountain was honestly wonderful. From the very beginning, the team was kind, patient, and easy to communicate with. They took time to understand what I wanted and made sure everything was well planned without making it feel rushed or commercial. During the trek in Anapurna Base Camp ,our guide Hari felt more like a friend than just a guide. He was knowledgeable, supportive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. The porters were equally hardworking and respectful. Small things, like checking in on us daily, adjusting the pace when needed, and sharing local stories, made a big difference. Everything ran smoothly, from permits to accommodation, and I never felt stressed about logistics. What stood out most was the genuine care and honesty of the team. You can really feel their love for the mountains and for taking care of people. I would happily recommend Happy Nepal Mountain to anyone visiting Nepal who wants a safe, well-organized, and truly personal trekking experience. It’s not just a trip,it feels like a memory made with good people.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, Liza Mam, for your beautiful and detailed feedback. We’re truly grateful for your kind words and for choosing Happy Mountain Nepal for your Annapurna Base Camp trek. It means a lot to hear that our team made you feel comfortable, well cared for, and never rushed. This is exactly the experience we strive to provide. We’re especially happy to know that Hari made your trek feel friendly, safe, and enjoyable, and that our porters’ hard work and respect left a positive impression. Your appreciation of the small details, local stories, and daily care really encourages our entire team. Thank you for trusting us and for your heartfelt recommendation. We’re honored to have been part of such a meaningful memory and would be delighted to welcome you back to the mountains of Nepal again in the future.

Mt Everest Base Camp
We completed a fantastic trip to Mt Everest base camp with Happy Mountain Nepal. Our guide Resham (Ray) and his porters did a fantastic job getting us through each day keeping our pace low and manageable. Ray was always positive and supportive even when the going got tough. The scenery is breathtaking (literally). From the minute we were picked up all the way to our final night traditional dinner, the trip was superbly organised.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words, Stave sir🙏 It was truly a pleasure guiding you on the Everest Base Camp trek. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the journey and felt supported throughout, especially on the tougher days. Your positive attitude and teamwork made the trek even more special for all of us. I’m glad you appreciated the pacing, organization, and the hard work of our porters. They are an amazing team. The Everest region really is breathtaking, and sharing that experience with guests like you is what makes my job so rewarding. On behalf of myself and everyone at Happy Mountain Nepal, thank you for trekking with us. We hope to welcome you back to Nepal again for another adventure in the future. Warm regards, Resham (Ray)

Unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek with Happy Mountain
We are an Aussie family of four who trekked to Everest Base Camp in December with Happy Mountain, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our guide was the company owner, Ray, and he was absolutely exceptional. Ray is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced—but beyond that, he became a friend to our family throughout the journey. Ray went above and beyond in every way. He thoughtfully organised a birthday breakfast for our son, who turned 18 during the trek, which made a very special milestone even more memorable. Toward the end of our trip, my spouse and I unfortunately became ill. Ray carried my day-pack on the day we trekked into Base Camp, to help me reach our goal. His kindness, strength, and genuine concern meant so much to me, especially when I was feeling so unwell at this time. Ray/we realised my spouse and I were too unwell to continue the trek back down. Ray immediately took charge, arranging helicopter medical evacuation and coordinating our care with a hospital in Kathmandu. What impressed us most was Ray’s dedication to our children. After ensuring we were safely cared for, he continued the remaining 3 days of the journey with our two teenage children, trekking with them both, bringing them safely back down to Kathmandu. That level of trust, care, and responsibility was peace of mind for us. . Ray is so caring, trustworthy, and deeply committed to his clients. We would highly recommend Happy Mountain to anyone considering a trek in Nepal.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Annie Mam, for your incredibly kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to me and to all of us at Happy Mountain. Guiding your family to Everest Base Camp was an absolute privilege. From the very beginning, it was clear how supportive and connected you are as a family, and sharing that journey with you is something I will always remember fondly. Celebrating your son’s 18th birthday on the trek was a special moment for me as well, and I’m so glad we could make it a memorable milestone for him. I’m very sorry that you both became unwell toward the end of the trek, but I’m proud of how calmly and bravely you handled a difficult situation. Helping you reach Base Camp and then ensuring you received proper medical care was simply the right thing to do. Your safety and well-being always come first. Continuing the journey with your children was an honour and a responsibility I took very seriously. They were resilient, positive, and a joy to trek with, and I’m grateful for the trust you placed in me to bring them safely back down to Kathmandu. Thank you again for your recommendation and for taking the time to share your experience. I hope our paths cross one day, whether in the mountains or back in Nepal. Please give my warm regards to the whole family. With sincere thanks, Ray Happy Mountain

EBC Trekking With Flight: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does EBC Trekking With Flight cost?
+
Prices start at $1,597 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does EBC Trekking With Flight take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is EBC Trekking With Flight worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule EBC Trekking With Flight?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is EBC Trekking With Flight suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book EBC Trekking With Flight?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does EBC Trekking With Flight start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in EBC Trekking With Flight?
+
Included: Entrance fees; whole 12 days trip; Guide & Porters; Breakfast; and Private transportation. Not included: All Kind of Beverages; Insurance & Evecaution; Tips/Gratitude; and Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does EBC Trekking With Flight include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 876 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is EBC Trekking With Flight offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for EBC Trekking With Flight?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is EBC Trekking With Flight wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to EBC Trekking With Flight if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Kathmandu. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
