Nightmare of a payment process
It pains me to say this, but the tour company was very disappointing. I’m not sure I actually went with the original tour company I booked through, or if they just passed me off to someone else. In any case, they would not pick me up at my Airbnb and instructed me to get myself to the gate of the park. Once there, I was told that the tour guide would ‘help’ me with paying the entrance ticket. This did not work at all, and several of the guests were desperately trying to pay for the tickets using foreign phones and sharing hotspots. In the end, the tour guide tried to take a credit card payment from me on the spot which failed, and finally, another guest, a total stranger, had to buy my ticket, so I could take the tour. That being said, the park itself is incredible, but the payment system is a nightmare, and it was a terrible start to an otherwise wonderful day. Tour companies are well aware that the payment system is complicated and should either a) charge more for the tour and include the ticket cost; or b) instruct clients that they must purchase the ticket beforehand. There was a massive lineup of vehicles trying to enter the park so clearly lots of people were struggling. Interestingly, ‘checking’ the tourists’ tickets was done manually and they didn’t even check some of our payment confirmations. What a mess.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We're delighted that you tour went well eventually despite the hiccups. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your tour. Your feedback is valuable, and we regret that the entrance payment process fell short of your expectations. The payment system is was just implemented recently so it's still stabilizing. Regards Sylvia

Amazing Animals in their Habitat
Watching animals move on their territory was amazing. The park was gigantic, 72 sq miles in a large metropolitan city. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were so excited to see the giraffes as my son has loved them since he was a little boy. We took many pictures and still look at them to remember the adventure
Response from the operator: Hello Thank you very much for this amazing feedback . We are very happy you and your son got to have the best experience that he mostly wished for . We are also very happy to hear that our services were great especially with our guides who came in handy . The girrafes are certainly the most charming animals they happen to be my favourite . All in all you were part of this successful day and we do hope you will visit again and again . Thank you

Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park cost?
+
Prices start at $81 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Early Morning Group Joining Mini Safari To Nairobi National Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
