A historical countryside hike around Monopoli

We started with a bike tour of Monopoli, which complemented our walking tour from the morning. We continued with a hike through the olive groves, with plenty of explanations about olive cultivation, ending with a visit to the troglodyte village of Santi Martiri Andrea e Procopio and its rock church displaying stunning 10th-century paintings. Moving. Rocco Veronico is a cultured and friendly French-speaking guide. He lived in France in Grenoble: he speaks perfect French. The electric bikes were excellent equipment. We had a wonderful time, off the beaten path.

Best experience in Monopoli

Rocco was a great guide. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ride through the ancient olive groves was lovely, and the cave village at the end was remarkable. Appreciate the 15c frescos in the cave church. Thanks Rocco for a memorable experience.

travel

It’s hard to put into words what a decade of travel has given me. From bustling cities to quiet villages, from mountain peaks to ocean depths—I’ve experienced the beauty, diversity, and complexity of our Lovely Sri Lanka firsthand. These 10 years have been more than just movement across maps; they’ve been a journey of growth, connection, and discovery. I've collected not just photos and souvenirs, but memories, friendships, and life lessons that have shaped who I am today. Grateful for every step, every stumble, and every story along the way. Here’s to the adventures behind me—and the ones still to come.

Great introductory ebike tour of Monopopli

Rocco was an excellent guide! This a great way to get your bearings in monopoli! Rocco added context to the beautiful places, the pace was great (not slow at all for us, I'm sure he accommodates various speeds), did not feel rushed, he makes you feel very welcome. The ebikes were of high quality and in very good condition.Great recommendation for restaurants. Highly recommend, do this when you first get here!

How many days do you need in Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
