Experience three floors of immersive visual and soundscape exhibitions that tell the story of Irish literature past and present, with a focus on the global impact of Irish writing. MoLI has a mixture of permanent and revolving exhibitions. Revolving exhibitions for 2023-2024 include: Ink and Imagination (Sept 2023-Sept 2024): Presented in partnership with University College Dublin Special Collections and the National Poetry Archive, this exhibition displays letters and manuscripts from Irish writers, snippets of contemporary poets reading their own poems and more. Visitors can also relax amid the birdsong in the museum's tranquil readers garden or enjoy Irish culinary delights in the Common's café.

A truly enlightening and calming experience!
I loved learning about the Irish culture through the literary works of many distinguished poets, authors, etc. The display cases were pristine with all the first edition works of literature. I loved the room full of quotes, the audio and video nooks around the museum and, especially, the room where you get to write something yourself. I, mostly, enjoyed reading about the journey of James Joyce. I did pick up a few quote/poem/story cards with me and will cherish them as a memory of having visited the museum. I'm proud to be a UCD student and I'm happy to have learned about the connection between UCD and MoLI. I did not have anything at the cafe, but found it equally beautiful. Moreover, I like that there's a path leading from the cafe to the Iveagh Gardens, where I did spend some time.

Heaven for Lovers of Literature
I spent a weekend in Dublin, and buying my ticket to MoLI was the only activity I planned in advance--I was so excited to go! There is so much to say about this small and beautiful museum, but most striking is how strongly the Irish value language and literature. I learned about different Irish authors and found the multimedia presentation of the museum to be really impressive. Two highlights for me were speaking with a docent who welcomed me to the museum--I felt so happy to be there, and he shared with me some wonderful stories (like Seamus Heaney's widow being a regular visitor of the museum). The other highlight was lunch in the gorgeous cafe. Visiting MoLI was the best part of my weekend in Dublin. What a treasure!

Excellent experience!
We loved MoLi! It is such a clean, well-designed, enjoyable space to visit. The way the museum incorporates artwork into the space and invites visitors to take in not just the texts but the authors' various artifacts is excellent. I fully recommend this place if you are a reader or just want to dive a little deeper into Irish literature.

Great experience at the Museum of Literature
I didn't expect to be moved as much as I was by the content of the museum. I appreciated the focus on humanity especially in an age of content being created by computers. The "help me write" button just below this space stands out to me as I write this. Worth the price of admission.

A gift to yourself, a day of Irish Authors
What a beautiful day with my daughter from the coffee shop right through the exhibition. The whole building has such a warmth and the history and authors was so meaningful I would definitely go again and recommend. I had never been before
