**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent wine tour with wonderful hospitality**
We had a fantastic day with Kara Tours Porto, and a special thank you to Mr Kishan, who made the whole experience memorable. The tour was very well organised from start to finish, and the hospitality was truly great. We felt looked after throughout the day. We visited two wine estates, and both were excellent. There was also an option to visit a third, but we chose to stick with two, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy each one without feeling rushed. We really appreciated that flexibility. Mr Kishan went above and beyond. He took lovely photos of us along the way, and the homemade snacks prepared by his wife were delicious, such a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel like guests rather than customers. We would surely recommend Kara Tours Porto and Mr Kishan to everyone visiting Porto. Thank you for a great day!

Above and Beyond in Every Detail
We had an absolutely exceptional experience with Kara Tours in Porto, led by Krishan, and I truly cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such care and thoughtfulness. Krishan picked up our family of four from the airport in a spacious, spotless van that easily accommodated all of our large suitcases. He had clearly thought of every detail—bottled water, hand wipes, pillows for comfort, and the most incredible homemade snacks and sangria (which my mom is still talking about!). It immediately set the tone for the level of hospitality we would experience throughout our time with him. One of the things that really stood out was his flexibility and kindness. Since our Airbnb wasn’t ready yet, Krishan graciously held onto all of our luggage while we went on a food tour, then returned promptly to pick us up and take us to our Airbnb—helping us with our bags along the way. That level of service made our arrival day completely stress-free. We also booked a private Douro Valley wine tour with him, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Krishan curated an incredible day, organizing tastings at three beautiful and unique wineries, including one with a delicious lunch, and even included a scenic boat tour. Despite the chilly March weather, he came fully prepared with a thoughtful spread of homemade snacks and port wine to keep us warm and comfortable—again going above and beyond in every way. What made the experience even more special was how much he genuinely cared. Krishan captured so many beautiful moments for our family, taking photos and videos throughout the day and later sharing them as a thoughtfully put-together album and reels. It was such an unexpected and meaningful touch. Krishan didn’t miss a single detail. He treated our family like his own and consistently went the extra mile in ways both big and small. He is the true definition of hospitality. I would absolutely book with Kara Tours again on our next visit to Porto and wholeheartedly recommend Krishan to anyone looking for a memorable, seamless, and deeply personal experience.

For An Eperience Like No Other
Our favorite tour of the trip to Portugal was the Douro valley wine tour we took with Krish. His attention to detail and knowledge of the best places to see are beyond expression. We were treated like family from the time he picked us up until the drop off at the end of the day. You can hear Krish's passion as he teaches you all he knows about the region. The van was filled with snacks and refreshments, and everything else you think you might need for a comfortable journey through the mountains and valley. The photos and video he took during our tour are a treasure to have. Even though we were touring on a rainy November day it was a magical time.
