You won’t regret booking a winery tour with Sergio!

Sergio is an amazing tour guide! His car was very clean and i love the fact that his EV is environmentally friendly. His passion for wine was evident and his knowledge of the process was impressive. You can tell he has a great relationship with all the wineries we went to! He also knew all the best spots for photos and was more than willing to take our pictures (as well as some selfies with him!) Our tour with Sergio was easily one of our favorite days of our trip!!

Great trip !!! Book this guy !!!!

We had an outstanding experience with our private driver/guide, Sergio Costa of Portugal EV Tours, during our time in Porto and the Douro Valley. Our group of four was picked up in an immaculate Tesla that comfortably accommodated six passengers, making for a very smooth and comfortable journey. What truly set this experience apart was Sergio’s professionalism and depth of knowledge. He was extremely articulate, informative, and engaging, providing rich context and history at every stop. In addition to showing us the highlights of Porto and the Douro Valley, he also took us to several lesser-known locations outside the city that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the trip. Everything was well-paced, personalized, and thoughtfully planned. We never felt rushed and always felt taken care of. Highly recommend Sergio Costa and Portugal EV Tours to anyone looking for a high-quality, informative, and enjoyable way to explore the region.

Unforgettable Douro Valley Experience with Sergio

We had an absolutely amazing day exploring the Douro Valley with Sergio in his electric vehicle. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, comfortable, and deeply enriching. Sergio is incredibly knowledgeable about the region—its history, culture, and especially its wines. His passion for the valley shines through in every story and detail he shares. The car was spotless and comfortable, making the journey through the winding valley roads a true pleasure. Sergio was attentive to our needs throughout the day, ensuring every moment felt special and personalized. Whether it was adjusting the itinerary to suit our pace or offering thoughtful insights, he made us feel completely taken care of. One of the highlights was visiting the wineries. It was clear that Sergio is highly respected by the winemakers and staff—his warm relationships with them added a personal touch to each tasting and tour. We felt like welcomed guests rather than just tourists. If you're looking for a unique, luxurious, and insightful way to experience the Douro Valley, we can't recommend Sergio enough. This tour was a standout moment of our trip and one we’ll remember for years to come.⸻ Would you like help posting this to a review site like TripAdvisor or Google Reviews?

Douro Valley in a Tesla: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.

How much does Douro Valley in a Tesla cost?

    +

Prices start at $466 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Douro Valley in a Tesla take?

    +

Plan for about 10.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.

Is Douro Valley in a Tesla worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 84 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Douro Valley in a Tesla?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Douro Valley in a Tesla suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Douro Valley in a Tesla?

    +

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Douro Valley in a Tesla start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
