    Better than standing in line

Easy to get tickets. Forget the lines just enter. I bought the tickets in the cab ride over to the palace, very easy and quick.

Response from the operator: Dear Thomas, Thank you for your great feedback! We're happy to hear that the process was quick and smooth for you. Skipping the lines and getting instant access is exactly what we aim to provide — glad it made your visit easier! We hope to see you again soon in Istanbul! Warm regards, The Istanbul Tourist Pass® Team

Good Customer Service, Bad App Functionality

I had several issues with the mobile application. It crashed frequently, and on May 23rd, 2025, we didn’t receive the QR codes for entry at all. After contacting support, they eventually sent us codes for the Dolmabahçe Palace visit, but we had to wait about 20 minutes for that. Later the same day, at Galata Tower, we again didn’t receive any QR codes. Thankfully, a kind and helpful guide (I wish I knew where I could give him a 5-star rating!) let us in using his own code. While the app itself is quite unreliable, I must say the WhatsApp support team did their best to fix the situation. Overall, due to the app problems but good customer support, my maximum rating is 3 stars.

Response from the operator: Dear Sir, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered with the mobile application, particularly regarding the QR code delivery on May 23rd. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to experience such technical difficulties during your visit. Please rest assured that we are currently working on improving the functionality of our mobile app to ensure these technical issues do not occur again. Our aim is to enhance the overall experience for all our customers. That said, we are pleased to know that our WhatsApp support team was able to assist you promptly, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the helpfulness of the guide at Galata Tower. If you are able to provide further details about the guide, we would be happy to pass along your feedback. Your comments are valuable to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better on your next visit. Kind regards, The Istanbul Tourist Pass® Team

Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.

How much does Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul cost?

    +

Prices start at $81 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.

Is Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dolmabahce Palace and Galata Tower Combo in Istanbul start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Istanbul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Istanbul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
