Discover Scuba Diving in Lanzarote (Costa Teguise)

Fantastic experience

We had a fantastic scuba diving experience from start to finish. They kept in touch with us from the moment we made the booking. As they had a large booking on the date and time we originally agreed, they kindly offered us the option to change the date and time if it was convenient for us. We were happy to do so, and it worked out perfectly as we ended up having a private lesson. We felt very safe throughout the whole experience. It was my 14yo first time scuba diving, and the instructor was brilliant at taking the time both before and during the dive to make sure he was comfortable. I really appreciated the patience and care he showed. I would highly recommend this experience, especially for beginners or anyone who may feel a little nervous about trying scuba diving for the first time. One small note: if you choose the photo package, the photos take a couple of days to arrive.

First time scuba diving - would recommend

We booked our scuba diving experience in Lanzarote through Viator, which was a really handy way to arrange activities while on holiday. We went with Daivoon Diving Center and had a great experience overall. The staff were all lovely, welcoming, and had a great sense of humour, which helped put us at ease. When we first booked, we thought we would be diving together, but it turned out to be one at a time. To be fair, as it was both of our first times scuba diving, I didn’t mind in the end. There is a lot to take in, and having the instructor’s full attention was actually quite handy. Our instructor, Luzia, was fantastic. She was calm, patient, and reassuring throughout, helping me stay relaxed and enjoy the experience. It was a little nerve wracking at first, but once I settled in, it was really interesting and a lot of fun. I was underwater for nearly half an hour and saw plenty of fish. The whole experience was unforgettable. If I were to go scuba diving again, I’d definitely feel much more confident and prepared thanks to this introduction. Also Goetz, who was great craic and added a great atmosphere. We also paid the €25 for the photos, and I would definitely say they were worth it. Michi kindly sent them on to us by email afterwards, which I really appreciated. It was lovely to have the memories captured and to be able to look back on such a unique experience. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking of trying scuba diving for the first time.

Wonderful beginner diving

had a wonderful time diving with Daivoon diving centre. Goetz was a great instructor, and both him and Michi made the day superb. Also easy communication before the activity. There is a good safety-brief before the dive, then a one-on-one diving session. If you want pictures from the dive you can pay a small amount for it - definitely reckommend, you get a lot of great pictures! It is all very proffessional and I would love to come back one day. Absolutely reckommend!

Breathtaking!

On arrival I received a warm welcome from Goetz & Michi who explained the formalities and what to expect, which was reassuring as it was my first dive. Once in the water, Goetz constantly checked I was ok 👌
