We can walk down Larimar street where the RiNo art district is. There is dozens of fascinating murals over the buildings in this area. As a former industrial hub, the RiNo Art District is a part of the historic neighborhoods of Five Points, Cole, Globeville and Elyria-Swansea in Denver, Colorado. During the turn of the last century the area was home to foundries, pattern shops and industrial uses that helped drive the economic success of Denver. As industry moved out of the city's core in the late 80s and 90s, the corridor was left with several vacant warehouses and a failing infrastructure. During this time artists began to populate the area as prices were very affordable and the area was fertile ground for arts, artists and creatives.

Corinthian-style, gold-domed edifice offering tours, exhibits & photo ops at 1 mile above sea level. The Capitol building was designed by Elijah E. Myers, and its construction lasted from 1886 through 1901. The exterior walls of the Capitol are constructed of granite quarried near Gunnison, Colorado. The pink stone seen throughout the Capitol is rose onyx discovered near Beulah, Colorado. This coloration of onyx has never been found anywhere else in the world. The floors of the Capitol are constructed of yule marble from Marble, Colorado. In 1908 Colorado gold miners made a gift of 200 ounces of gold to gild the dome. Rising 272 feet above the ground, the gleaming gold dome on the Colorado Capitol is a fitting tribute to the history of our state.

    Best Day in Denver!

Great way to see all the sights in Denver in a relaxed way. Jeremy was the best tour guide, so polite and accommodating. We had some silly requests like eating at the In and Out Burger and he was very happy to bring us there. We enjoyed his insights and vast knowledge of the area. It may have been the best possible way to spend a day in Denver!

Response from the operator: I'm glad you guys enjoyed the tour Kerry. We got to cover a lot of ground and I enjoyed the conversation and humor. Hope you guys enjoyed the rest of the weekend and the game! Hope Chris is feeling better too. Cheers, Jeremy.

    Fantastic private tour of Denver

Jeremy led a wonderful, thorough tour of Denver. He picked us up from our hotel and we went out to the Red Rocks, Golden, Lookout Mountain with Buffalo Bill’s grave, and he even made a special spur-of-the-moment stop for me to see Mother Cabrini’s shrine when we passed the sign for it. The downtown tour was great as he showed us all the top spots and murals in the art district. He bought us pizza for lunch and it was delicious. Thank you Jeremy for showing us Denver!

Response from the operator: I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Thanks for showing me a new place too! The Cabrini Shrine was cool and something others might like too. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Denver. Safe travels back to Mississippi and hope to see you guys again someday. Safe travels in Peru. Cheers, Jeremy.

Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Denver.

How much does Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks cost?

    +

Prices start at $490 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Denver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Denver is not rushed.

Is Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Denver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Denver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Denver and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Denver in a Day Private Tour - RiNo, Sites Downtown, Red Rocks start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Denver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Denver?

    +

Denver is a launch pad. Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, Red Rocks and the Georgetown rail loop all run as day trips, and altitude makes the timing of your first hike matter. In town: brewery crawls, Union Station food walks and Red Rocks show nights. We rank mountain operators on van size, pace and whether they build in altitude acclimatisation. On Outty we rank every Denver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Downtown Denver Food Tour, Twilight Ghost Tour, Small Group Tour of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods from Denver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Denver?

    +

June to September for open mountain passes, or December to March for ski shuttles. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Denver?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
