Amazing!
Great tour for everyone visiting Denver for the first time! Alex was our tour guide. He was amazing, very informative, and professional with a great sense of humor. Accompanied by a diverse group. Beautiful concert venue at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views at the Lookout Mountain. Excellent photo opportunities on each stop, and delicious food at Golden. So If you are looking for a fun half day adventure: look no further… this is your tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Yoli! We’re glad Alex’s knowledge and sense of humor made your first visit to Denver memorable. Red Rocks, Lookout Mountain, and a delicious stop in Golden make a wonderful half-day adventure. We appreciate your recommendation!

The experience was...
The experience was overall very good except for guide mixing up itinerary and we were unable to make a stop I was looking forward to. Guide should have a mic on. We were sitting on rear and missed out on so much information.
Response from the operator: Hi Vanessa, we’re sorry the missed stop and difficulty hearing the commentary took away from an otherwise enjoyable day. Guests seated toward the back should be able to hear and enjoy the guide’s commentary, too. We appreciate you bringing these shortcomings to our attention.

Van and trip overall was...
Van and trip overall was nice, but the biggest issue was that the guide didn't actually know the stops that were included so we completely missed Wild Bill museum and ended uo driving around a hillside neighborhood looking for buffalo that never appeared instead. When someone asked about the museum she said the route had changed due to traffic and they were working to get the website updated. She did at least confess later that she looked back at the route and apologized that we didn't go there because we were supposed to. She was very nice, but usually on a Viator trip we get more history or general info as we are driving from place to place. She did have a few things along the way, but there were long periods of travel silence as well. The timing of rhe 4 hour trip was nice, but pad some time because we got back around a half hour late.
Response from the operator: Deborah, you should have been able to enjoy your day without uncertainty about the itinerary. We’re sorry the missed museum stop, limited commentary, and later-than-expected return left you disappointed. This fell short of the organized, informative experience we aim to provide.

Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Denver.
How much does Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Denver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Denver is not rushed.
Is Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 594 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Denver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour?
+
Around 208 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Denver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Denver and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Denver and Foothills Mountain Small-Group Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Denver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Denver?
+
Denver is a launch pad. Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, Red Rocks and the Georgetown rail loop all run as day trips, and altitude makes the timing of your first hike matter. In town: brewery crawls, Union Station food walks and Red Rocks show nights. We rank mountain operators on van size, pace and whether they build in altitude acclimatisation. On Outty we rank every Denver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Twilight Ghost Tour, 2 Hour LoDo Historic Walking Tour in Denver, Downtown Denver Food Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Denver?
+
June to September for open mountain passes, or December to March for ski shuttles. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Denver?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

+
