A Romantic Stroll Through Historic Bruges
Bruges was such a charming place to explore as a couple. We loved wandering through the historic streets, admiring the traditional architecture, and enjoying the atmosphere around Market Square. There was something special about the city that made even a simple walk feel memorable. We stopped to appreciate the beautiful surroundings, browsed a few chocolate shops, and enjoyed some Belgian treats together. The Basilica of the Holy Blood was another interesting stop, especially for its history and distinctive character. Since we were visiting during a cruise stop, having our return to the port planned was reassuring and helped us enjoy the day without constantly worrying about the time. It was a lovely balance of sightseeing, relaxed walking, and little moments together that we will remember fondly.

Nice place to visit and friendly
Cruise ship only there for a few hours. There is a free shuttle bus from port to Blankeberge which i did with my sister. We were impressed with the long street full of shops with different goods and purchased the lovely chocolate and a couple of souvenirs. We didnt attempt the journey into Bruges town as we were told it was a 20minute walk from the train station. We didnt do blankenberge justice either as it has a long beach and lots of little side street to venture down which we didnt do. I would recommend a visit here.

A Wonderful Family Day in Bruges
Exploring Bruges during our cruise stop was a lovely experience for our family. The historic streets, beautiful old buildings, and charming atmosphere made the city feel like somewhere out of a storybook. Market Square was one of our favorite places, with so much to look at and plenty of opportunities to take family photos. We also enjoyed discovering the local chocolate shops and treating ourselves to some delicious Belgian sweets. It was nice to experience the city's history without feeling that we had to rush through every street. Having a plan for getting back to the cruise port on time also made the day feel less stressful. Bruges turned out to be a memorable stop for all of us, and it offered something enjoyable for both adults and younger family members.

Charlene was our tour...
Charlene was our tour guide. She was full of spunk and knowledge about Brugge. Charlene had a lot of fans around Brugge and was extremely caring for the group she was touring around the city. We had 2 hours of free time and we were able to get waffles, chocolate and Belgium beer! If you book this tour I hope you get Charlene and get to enjoy this wonderful city.

Good cruise excursion
Easy to book and easy to find. We started late because there was a lot of confusion with passengers and the start time. Some passengers didn’t get the correct start time sent to them so we had to sit and wait, we were told we would get extra time till 430pm but we did not. I would have liked the extra time. Charlene was our tour guide and she was good. She explained many things to us. I would have liked more free time to explore the town.
