This is India First street are district, we will see Murals from different artist from all over the world. Since 2015, more than 50 artists have let their imagination onto the wide evenly-spaced facades of the pedestrian-friendly Lodhi colony. We will see art creations of artists, and learn about the back story of the murals and how artists got their inspiration. Participants become active witnesses of the cityscape’s enhancement and of the re-imagination of its public spaces. This will be super inter-active as you share your perspective on murals. Knowledgeable guide and good vibes
JD is a really dedicated guide, who loves his home town of Delhi, and it shows! We met up at the Lodhi art neighborhood in Delhi, and walked around looking at different murals, painted by artists from all over the world. It would have been harder to truly admire the art without JD's explanations, because he talks about each mural and each artist, and the meaning behind the art. He also does interviews with the artists, who give him a bit of behind the scenes and extra knowledge about each piece, and he includes these bits of info in the tour. As a break, we had masala tea made by him, cookies, and samosas from a local vendor. And last but not least, JD is a talented street photographer, and he can take well-composed and fun shots for your social media!

Best Delhi Street Art Walk – A Hidden Gem Beyond the Monuments
As it was my last day in Delhi, I had already visited the major monuments and wanted to do something different. I booked this Delhi Street Art Walk at the last minute, and I’m so glad I did. It turned out to be one of the most relaxing and memorable things to do in Delhi. The walk through the Lodhi Art District was calm, colourful, and full of fascinating stories. What made the experience special was our host, JD, who has personally met many of the artists behind the murals. His stories, insights, and conversations felt natural, making every artwork come alive. The pace was perfect, and the whole experience was well organised without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a unique walking tour in Delhi, a street art tour beyond the usual tourist attractions, or simply a different side of the city, I highly recommend booking this experience with the Explore Real India team.

Delhi Street art Tour - A Refreshing Escape from Old Delhi
If you’re looking for something completely different from the hustle, noise, and crowds of Old Delhi, this experience is the perfect addition to your itinerary. It’s peaceful, insightful, and unlike the usual tourist attractions. The collection of stunning, massive murals and minerals is fascinating, and the host does a fantastic job explaining the stories behind the artwork, the artists, and their significance. What made the experience even more special was how warm and approachable the host was. You can ask anything about everyday life in Delhi from a local’s perspective, making the visit feel personal and authentic. And I can’t forget the homemade chai it was absolutely delicious! JD’s signature chai blend is genuinely something special and worth trying. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience.
