What you get
About this experience
Top Shot Sportfishing Charters has been in business and catching fish since 1975. As a second generation captain it is my goal to ensure you have an excellent adventure catching fish and having fun aboard a comfortable 52' Hatteras. Very little time is wasted traveling to the fishing grounds and just two miles from the inlet we are fishing in deep water and targeting big game. Relax inside the air conditioned cabin or join the excitement in the cockpit targeting fish. Additionally there is plenty of space on the vessel to join the captain on the bridge. Any edible fish you catch the crew will filet and bag for you to take home to eat. When you arrive every aspect of the fishing charter has been taken care of and the first mate will cast the lines and we are off to the fishing grounds. We want you to have fun and catch fish aboard a very nice and clean sportfishing charter boat in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where a professional crew will guide you when reeling in the big one.

Rabid Tuna Charter Hatteras
Fishing off shore at Hatteras to the Gulf Stream ? Call Rabid Tuna and Capt Tim and Fist mate Dave, we limited out on Mahi, Capt and Dave are pros, friendly and know the art of fishing, the boat was older but was comfortable and well equipped. I’ve fished Alaska and these guys are on par ! And I highly recommend you pick them if you fish off shore.

Outstanding
Had an outstanding trip with the Too Shot team. Excellent boat and equipment, very friendly team and got us onto some great fish. 12/10 and highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the awesome review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. The crew works hard to keep the boat dialed in and the gear ready so we can focus on what matters — getting you on fish and making sure everyone has a fun, relaxed day on the water giving you the best charter. We’re glad you enjoyed the boat and the team, and even happier we were able to put you on some quality fish! It was a pleasure having you aboard and we hope to fish with you again the next time you’re in Fort Lauderdale. Tight lines and thanks again for choosing Top Shot Sportfishing! Best regards, Capt. Dave

If you want a first class enjoyable Fishing Charter Dave and his crew were the absolute best.
This charter was amazing! I am a bit of a fishing novice. ( my two Brothers-in-law were not) But David and his crew were terrific. They assisted me every step of the way until I started to function on my own which made the whole experience wonderful. They were experts in handling the lines, fish and all the other indices required. My brothers-in-law who were experienced said this crew was the best.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear you had such a great experience with us. One of our favorite parts of the job is helping first-time and novice anglers feel comfortable, and it’s awesome to hear you were able to get the hang of it and start doing things on your own. That’s exactly what we aim for — a fun, hands-on day where everyone, no matter their experience level, gets to enjoy the fishing and be part of the action. We also appreciate the kind words from your brothers-in-law. It means a lot when experienced fishermen recognize the crew’s effort and attention to detail. It was a pleasure having you all aboard, and we hope to see you back in Fort Lauderdale again soon for another trip! Tight lines, Capt. Dave & the Top Shot Sportfishing Crew

Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.
How much does Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras cost?
+
Prices start at $900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.
Is Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Deep sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale aboard 52' Hatteras start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?
+
November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
