Riding along hippos, sundowner, walking guided safaris side by side with animals

We recently took a day trip from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, and it was a refreshing break from city life, with lovely views of the Rift Valley escarpment along the way. We did boat rides, riding along with hippos then crossed over to Crescent Island where we did a walking safari. It was the best ever Safari I have done walking along with animals.

    Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate

Great day out. Casolodge Travel and Safaris did us proud after a late start because TripAdvisor (Viator) had failed to communicate with them our booking. The tour operator was able to lay on the tour at 2 hours notice. I suggest phoning +254733912093 to book direct. Because of the late start we arrived at the game park around 11am when many of the animals were sheltering from the heat of the day, so not best timing. Then a visit to he Olkaria Spa and geothermal power station - a revelatio. A late lunch (also because of the late start ) was followed by a spectacular boat trip on Lake Naivasha.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for taking time to write us this wonderful review. First we apologize for the missup that happened on that day .We have had a discussion and we promise in future the same thing will never happen again We are delighted to read that you had an amazing tour. This is one of the must go tours as it lends you the opportunity to cycle in the wild and enjoy the spectacular views at Lake Naivasha as well as get close to the hippos and spot the variety of birds. We welcome you to travel with us again in future as we explore other destinations.

How much does Day Trip To Lake Naivasha From Nairobi cost?

    +

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
