My family and I had a beautiful experience on this tour with our guide, José Carlos. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and told us a lot about the islands history and answered all our questions. The island is absolutely beautiful and this was an amazing way to experience the many treasures it has to offer as well as have a delicious meal and some relaxing time on the beach. We enjoyed the tour immensely and would recommend it to others!!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are glad you liked the excursion and hope, you come back to visit Mexico soon!!

The natural side of Cozumel
Our tour guide, JC was helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Cozumel. The dirt road into the National Park was a bit bumpy, but JC drove with care. We saw Mayan ruins, the lagoon, lighthouse with museum and ended at the beach club where we swan in the beautiful water and enjoyed lunch. It was a great way to see the natural side of Cozumel for our first visit there.

You will not be disappointed.
The tour guide was amazing. JC (Jose Carlos). This was a private tour so I did not have to go with strangers. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the island. He was able to explain the history of the island. I saw crocodiles and wild pig. The restaurant at the beach was nice with plenty of lawn chairs and beach umbrellas. There were swings at the bar. And the drinks were very cute in pineapples and coconuts. There was a selection of tacos, fajitas, burritos. I got fish tacos, and it was very fresh and good. The service was incredibly fast. There is snorkeling also available with this tour guide. The water was so beautiful. I would do it again with the same Guide next time.

you must usually Leon tours when you go to Cozumel!!
first of all, this was one of the nicest and well planned day trips to Cozumel. First of all Birget was tremendously easy to communicate with on WhatsApp. He responded many times and made me feel at ease because I had never worked with him. He recommended we work with his trusted colleague JC who’s lived on Cozumel’s entire life. The entire trip was highly customizable to keep that in mind for example, if you want to spend more time, snorkeling or sightseeing or tequila tasting, they will accommodate. Needless to say, JC was great. he spent seven hours with us and took us all around the island which included : historical perspective on the Mayan culture. Mayan ruins, stopping at beaches, including snorkeling, as well as tequila tasting. however he was willing to do anything we wanted to do, but we left the day in his capable hands. He’s been living on the island since he was a young man so he knows everybody. The fee for service was very reasonable and I feel very comfortable very comfortable. Please be sure to tip JC as he made me and my daughter feel very safe. Bridget recommended we take one of the three most popular ferry services. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Cozumel from Playa Del Carmen.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are glad you liked the excursion and hope, you come back to visit Mexico soon!!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $157 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cozumel National Park and Beach Break: Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
