Highlight of our holiday
This has to be the best trip in our fortnight holiday around Caribbean. Omar and the rest crew were friendly and so welcoming. The three diving spots were very different so good variety. The last one was in a shallow stunning beach where rays swam around us and we relaxed on white/pink sand having a snack and drinks - truly stunning. Thank you - loved by my three children and 2 adults. (If you are coming from cruise point it is about a 15/20 minute walk to marina - quite doable but hot so if prefer get a taxi which are plentiful both ways).

Ceviche and Stingrays! Muy Bueno!
Great day of snorkeling. Our guide Carlos was great! Saw spotted rays. Skates, lobsters, puffer fish, and tons of fish and coral at Columbia reef. We saw starfish at El Cielo and enjoyed fabulous ceviche and chips in the company of friendly rays as they glided past as we ate! A great experience! Thank you!

Good although not what we signed up for
Great guides, however not glass bottom boat and only two not three snorkel options. Disappointed not what we paid for. Also, need to charge dock fee with reservation USD 20 went in a guys breast pocket...

Awesome snorkelling experience!
We had a great experience on this tour! Very well organized from start to finish with the multiple types of transportation we required from our resort in Puerto Morelos. Our tour guide Alejandro and the crew were kind and hospitable, Miguel took some amazing underwater photos and the price to purchase them all was a reasonable $30USD. Definitely worth it for the clarity alone! The food was tasty and more than enough. Shoutout to a different tour guide, Rodrigo, who we ended up sitting beside on the ferry ride home, he shared a lot about the history of the island and photos. We appreciated it! Of note: it was a very, very long day. Our travel agent at the resort gave the impression it was 6-7hrs total, but was approx. 11hrs roundtrip. We didn't realize the lengthy travel time involved between the shuttle, ferry and speedboat ride itself to snorkel –which was early afternoon before we got into the water. Bring a change of clothes for the wait time/shopping after the snorkel tour itself, until the next ferry arrives. If you’re not one for crowds, this experience is not for you as we were part of a large group leading up to and from the actual snorkelling tour.

Gorgeous views, lots of travel time from Playa Carmen
We booked a tour through our Playacar hotel for snorkeling in Cozumel. Probably not their fault but this tour is much more sitting and waiting to get to the snorkel sites than really snorkeling. Tour guide Danny was very good and we got some really cool photos. We did see a sting ray, fish, starfish, sea turtle. Just wish there was more time to snorkel at different sites. If your focus is to get in a lot of snorkeling, try another approach. If you want to ride in a boat, see beautiful Caribbean views, visit retail stores, and snorkel and swim a little, this is a great tour. (Btw charge was $30 to get copies of the cool photos. It was nice having a tour photographer).

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling take?
+
Plan for about 4.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cozumel 3 reefs Boat tour with drinks and Snorkeling start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
