    An immediate sense of family!

A last minute booking that added so much joy and authenticity to our trip! My husband and I were only in the area for a few days and wanted to take advantage of all that we could. Carolina and Simona were the most gracious and professional hosts. They taught us with such wholesome love for their dishes. We were welcomed into their home and blown away by the immediate sense of family. The food was outstanding but the company was the cherry on top! Thank you Carolina and Simona. John and I are so grateful to you and wish to repay the favor if you're ever in the states!

    Home cooking at its finest!

From the start, Simona was very helpful with our travel to their lovely home. She and her mother, Carolina, were very welcoming, patient, and so fun! We learned so much and they shared some of their favorite food and recipes that we will definitely make! We came in as tourists and we left as “family”!

Last minute request turns into a wonderful experience!

My husband and I were only in Como for a couple of days and wanted to make the most of our time there. So we booked the experience very last minute - just the night before. Simona was quick to reach out and help coordinate the location. She was so helpful with all of her information. We were surprised to learn when we arrived that we were the only 2 in the class, so we basically had a private lesson. Simona and her mom were wonderful hosts. Their apartment is beautiful and the food was amazing! Simona has so much great information about the area and even gave us a dinner recommendation in Como! We made an amazing 3 course meal and had some excellent wine. We loved every minute of our experience and are so thankful that Simona and her mom were able to accept our last minute request!

    Highlight of our trip!

Bernice was PHENOMINAL. She was so sweet and kind, very informative and we loved learning recipes she learned from her Grandmother. They were SO delicious, we are already planning to make them again at home!! 10 out of 10 would do again and cannot recommend enough!! First class and very memorable!

Fantastic food and hosts with a penthouse view of Como

We had an absolutely fantastic evening with Vincenzo and Stefania. Great cooking, great food, and even greater company. Everybody in our group was thrilled with the experience and excited to bring some of our new skills back home!

Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.

How much does Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.

Is Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cooking Class with a View in Lake Como start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Como?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Como?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Como?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
