Best experience ever!
Because it was just the two of us, the whole experience felt personal rather than like a tourist activity. She walked us through each dish step by step, sharing little tips and stories along the way, and it never felt rushed. It was the two of us cooking alongside her in her kitchen, and honestly it felt less like a class and more like spending the afternoon with our own Italian nonna. The sweetest surprise: it was my partner’s birthday, and our host had made a handmade cake and brought out prosecco to celebrate — completely unprompted generosity that turned a great cooking class into one of the most memorable moments of our trip. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and it meant so much to us. The food itself was fantastic — fresh, authentic Puglian dishes made from scratch — but honestly the real highlight was her warmth and hospitality. We left full, happy, and genuinely touched. If you want an authentic, heartfelt experience in Ostuni rather than a generic tourist activity, book this. We can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent Ostuni authentic cooking experience
I booked this cooking class based on 5-star reviews, and the experience lived up to its rating! Lulu and her boyfriend were warm, welcoming, and engaging hosts for our dinner-making experience. We are a family of 5, and our kids (13, 15, and 18) were equally engaged and enjoyed every moment! I highly recommend this class to anyone traveling with or without kids.

Great experience cooking in Ostuni
Lulu, our Chef, was simply amazing! Very welcoming, warm, friendly. We felt like we knew her for a very long time and she made her home feeling like ours. Not only we learned how to make pasta from scratch, make focaccia and other dishes, but we met a new friend that we’ll definitely keep in touch long after leaving beautiful Puglia. I

More than just cooking
This is such a lovely experience. Lulu doesn’t provide a cooking class. She provides a cooking experience and memories. It’s informal and relaxing and truly authentic. I brought my father who has zero cooking ability and he left with the confidence to attempt multiple dishes by himself. I would really recommend for groups looking a social experience around cooking. Great day out

Amazing cooking class in the chef’s home.
This is an exceptional experience! Being invited into Chef Lulu’s home for the cooking class made it even more delightful and memorable. Chef Lulu taught us how to make an entire dinner using local ingredients. I learned a lot and had a great time throughout. It’s a very special thing to do.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
cooking class Ostuni: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brindisi.
How much does cooking class Ostuni cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brindisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does cooking class Ostuni take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brindisi is not rushed.
Is cooking class Ostuni worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brindisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule cooking class Ostuni?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is cooking class Ostuni suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book cooking class Ostuni?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brindisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brindisi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does cooking class Ostuni start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brindisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brindisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Brindisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine Experience: vineyard, wines and food, Mozzarella Experience - Cheese Tasting Tour at Masseria Fragnite, Puglia Bike Tour: Cycling Through the History of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brindisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brindisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
