    Delicious Italian meal

Mimma demonstrated the preparation of a 4 course meal which we ate together in their garden. It was very informative and enjoyable. Our hosts were welcoming and organised. The conversation was very interesting. We fully recommend this experience.

    Nice experience

Nice meeting with the couple who received us. Different dishes offered, fresh jarfin products well cooked, fresh pasta, a good time to share and thank you.

    dissapointed

went to the show today with my sister as we had free tickets. we were a little disappointed that there were not more room settings to view & hardly anything innovative or new, also the craft village was not there as advertised. I am glad we hadn't paid for tickets.

Response from the operator: Dear Sir or Madam, Unfortunately we are not able to find your booking anywhere in our systems. Could you please send us an email to: booking@cesarine.com and write us your booking reference, so that we can investigate the issue further? I remain at your disposal,

    Annoyingly misleading and massively costly

This did not go well from the start. Email pick up instructions appeared to suggest collection from central Brindisi location. This was not the case. A 30 minute cab journey costing Eur 30 took us to an almost impossible to find and worryingly dark, empty and remote location outside the city. Literally in the middle of nowhere, not in a good way. The family, friendly and kind as they were, spoke no English. Fortunately a charming friend of theirs did, enabling some conversation to take place. The food was unremarkable but plentiful. A couple of hours later another taxi took us back to the hotel costing a further Eur30. An evening not to be repeated. The organisers should make it clear that hosts are some distance outside the city itself which adds considerably to the cost of the experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Fussell, thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion and frustration you experienced. For this experience, the correct meeting point and the host’s contact details are provided in the final confirmation message sent by Viator after booking. The location shown on Viator’s general listing page is a generic reference point and is not intended as the actual meeting location. When guests arrive at the confirmed address, the host is present as scheduled. Some of our hosts do not speak perfect English, which is why there's always someone with a good level of English who helps translating :) We truly appreciate your understanding and your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again — perhaps on a market day next time. Kind regards,

Good conversation, Great food, Amazing setting.

Had an amazing experience with Claudia and Giuseppe, their Villa just outside of the City was an amazing setting for a terrific dinner with homemade pasta and jams. A full Italian Four Corse meal, so much food, make sure you come hungry. They provided an interpreter to ensure we had a great conversation as well as a great meal.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brindisi.

How much does Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking cost?

    +

Prices start at $97 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brindisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brindisi is not rushed.

Is Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brindisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brindisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brindisi and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dining experience at a local's home in Brindisi with show cooking start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brindisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brindisi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Brindisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine Experience: vineyard, wines and food, Puglia Bike Tour: Cycling Through the History of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mozzarella Experience - Cheese Tasting Tour at Masseria Fragnite. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brindisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brindisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
