This is a pasta makig class. Not a cookery class.

While the Nonnas as Host were very friendly... the class was merely a pasta making class. We did have fun but mostly due to our own immersion in the environment. Shop and family museum were lovely. Sadly the host and other guests spent 75 % of their timr scrolling their phones. There seemed a heavy emphasis on getting photos and videos for instagram etc. This spoiled the atmosphere for us. The pasta shapes we made were taken away and cooked without any information... The meal afterwards was basic enough. We do not consider the price of €85 each to be good value for money. Having said all of that we would say without the Nonnas this class would lack lustre.

    Give pasta-making a try!

Pasta-making is like art, one needs to practice and here I had an opportunity to learn and practice with a very patient chef. Four different pasta shapes and then to enjoy after an appetizer and I tried the white and rosé wines. Understand and appreciate her message of vegetables with pasta and her work with Down’s syndrome individuals. A talented, humble woman. I wish her continued success!

Wonderful Cooking Class by a wonderful Brindisi Family

We had the best time making pasta with the most wonderful family this morning. We made several types of pasta, tasted the wine from there winery, and had Pomodoro sauce made from the tomatoes from their farm. It was a fun experience, learning the history of the family, learning about their farm, winery, and olive oil, while making different shapes of pasta all the while listening to Italian music and singing along to Mama Mia. Thank you for a great learning experience to start our vacation.
