More Than Just Cooking: A Cultural Journey with Raveena
We had such a wonderful time with Raveena. She not only showed us how to cook delicious Indian dishes, but also shared meaningful insights about the culture behind the food. Whenever we had questions, she answered them with personal stories and experiences, which made the class even more engaging and authentic. It was truly a pleasure meeting her, and we would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning both Indian cooking and culture.

Great cooking class
We did the cooking course and I would highly recommend it. Boby and his wife were very accommodating and gave us lots of recommendations. We learnt how to cook local food and we ate with them which was great. They also showed us the homestay which looks lovely, perfect central location and has the best roof top in Jaipur old town! Thank you for your hospitality!! Shukriya
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re truly delighted to hear that you had such a great time during the cooking class. It’s lovely to know that you enjoyed learning local recipes, sharing a meal with the family, and experiencing the warmth of Indian hospitality. A special thank you for your kind words about Boby and his wife — they will be very happy to hear this! We’re also glad you liked the homestay and its central location (and yes, the rooftop is always a favorite 😊). Your recommendation means a lot to us. Thank you once again, and we hope to welcome you back to Jaipur in the future! 🙏✨

Wonderful home cooking
I had such a wonderful experience at this home cooking Indian class. It felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly hands-on from start to finish. We learned to make a beautiful variety of dishes, including soft, freshly made chapatis, comforting dhal, flavourful vegetable dishes, and a deliciously creamy rice pudding. One of the highlights was learning how to make authentic chai from scratch. Everything was explained clearly, with lots of tips about spices, techniques, and how to balance flavours properly. It was relaxed, friendly, and perfect for all skill levels.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful review! 😊 We are truly happy to hear that you had such a warm and hands-on experience at our home cooking class. It means a lot to us that you enjoyed learning to make fresh chapatis, comforting dhal, flavorful vegetable dishes, creamy rice pudding, and of course authentic chai from scratch. Sharing traditional Indian recipes, spices, and cooking techniques is something we love doing, and we’re so glad you felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the class. We hope you continue making these dishes at home and remember your time in India every time you prepare them! You are always welcome back to cook with us again. 🇮🇳✨

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport cost?
+
Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 108 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport?
+
Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cooking Class in Jaipur – Family Experience with Meal & Transport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
