Terrible experience
Everything about this experience was a scam, except for the guide who did a stellar job. First off, they don't tell you that they are part of another company, Cactus Tours, which has terrible reviews for a reason. They then charge an additional "entrance fee" to their private property which was not part of the original price, and then also force you into buying liability insurance on the vehicles or putting down a deposit which they incorrectly charge on your CC card as a purchase, therefore making you deal with the headache of your own bank to get those funds put back because it was supposed to be a "Hold". They don't allow you to take anything including water on any adventure, they force you to put ALL, and I mean down to your watches, in a locker that they have the main key to. While I was there I witnessed first hand the woman working there opening stuffed lockers and looking through peoples personal belongings. They don't allow you to take pictures either, but they do try to sell you hundreds of dollars worth of photos on your way out. Wish this wasn't such a terrible experience, the guide was amazing and super friendly.

Rip off after paying off for the tour
It's a great experience but they do rip you off by changing to private tours and charging for pictures etc .after buying (paying the attraction fee already)our trip through viator we paid 195 to change to private tour as they won't let you bring your phn and said they will wait for 90 more people. Then there was 100 dollars for park entrance .25 per person. Then there was 150 for pictures.you don't get charged that much even in US. Our guide was good and friendly.
Response from the operator: We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. While we’re glad to know you enjoyed the tour and that your guide was friendly, we’re truly sorry that other aspects of your visit didn’t meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify that all official prices including park entrance fees, optional upgrades, and photo packages are clearly listed on our official website to help avoid confusion. The option for a private tour is completely voluntary and intended for guests who prefer a smaller, personalized experience with no waiting time. Regarding your comment about photo pricing, our rates are in line with those of other adventure parks in Los Cabos, though we understand it can still feel high, and we’re reviewing ways to make this service more flexible and accessible. We value your feedback and will share your comments with our team to keep improving transparency and communication at every step. We truly hope you’ll give us another chance in the future to provide the smooth, enjoyable experience you deserve.

This was amazing! It ended up just being me and my husband in the group, which was great! Pablo was our guide and he was wonderful.
Response from the operator: Pablo is always attentive to the small details which makes him a unique guide, and what a pleasure to know that you ended your experience in the best way.... thank you for sharing!

Best UTV/Horse tour in Cabo
We've done a few of these atv tours in Cabo, this was our first that included horse back riding. my wife is an experienced rider, me not so much. First impressions of the horse's was very well looked after and seemingly well taken care of. We got lucky and were the only two on this tour. so we got very personal and professional service. Wasn't too slow for my experienced wife, and just fast enough for me. our guide was excellent, allowing my wife to trot with her horse any time she wanted while "babysitting" me. We got to ride the utv, and horses along a beautiful stretch of the beach there, All in all a great trip and well worth the price.

Best part of trip to mexico
Alejandro was our guide for ATV and horsebacl riding. She did a great job and made the trip so enjoyable. The tequila tasting at the end with Tony was also extremely enjoyable.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does COMBO Horseback Riding & UTV Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
